As a follow-up from my last network post about who around here's been able to bridge the gap between different worlds, I got a blessing to go ahead and hold a meeting in the gym next week. It'll basically be an open forum to get ideas going. We have a lot of smart people and a lot of people with experience. I'm sure the right combination of that will start us all in the right direction to get some answers about the pods, and maybe answers about stuff even beyond that.

I mean, I believe we also have a common goal here. Even if you plan to stay here, there are a lot of people who could really benefit from going home. It's worth helping anyone who needs the help, right?

Yes, so I'll be joining the lovely people in Law Enforcement as an officer - it's truly ashame Chloe isn't hear to see it. And Haymitch, Sydney, and Willow - I'm your new roommate, I believe.

People are so annoying to me. This weekend I got a lot of "you're very cute but a little young for me". This is a general announcement that I'm 18ish, and therefore an adult and capable of making my own decisions about having sex and relationships. I don't understand why people get uncomfortable about age differences. Do they think that I'm immature because I'm not some magic number? And that I will become mature on a specific birthday?

I've gone through a lot. I was a coyote for seven years after I ate my mom and sister. I was targeted by assassins. I took algebra in summer school. Horrible stuff like that. And I say 18ish because I don't know how coyotes age or if my time spent as one "counted".

Is it a "take advantage of a younger person" thing? Because if someone tries to take advantage of me, I'll just kill them. See? You can totally date me now.

I don't care if people aren't interested in me because they think I'm weird. That's their poor life decision that they will later regret, because I'm an awesome girlfriend. But I don't understand why people get hung up over age. Can someone explain it to me in a way that will help me no longer think you're all being stupid?

And, jsyk, the questions people ask don't have to be about you specifically. They can ask questions about your world or your job or even something like, "What's it like to fight a dragon?" Yo! Darcy Lewis. I came in with that brainiac Jane Foster, and I'm from the same world, just totally more awesome because I'm pop cultured and memed with the world at large. Chances are if you hear Nine Inch Nails in the med lab area, that's me. I'm admin.


Also I hate long walks on the beach because it usually means we have metal detectors and are trying to find alien tech. The way to my heart is through sarcasm, free shit and music - take note hot guys. Bonus points if you helped slay the dragon, triple points if you tried to save it first.

Hey Team! I'm hella excited to be working with all of you. I got to see the roster and it's pretty much a Dream Team. I should warn you all, I'm always like this, so hopefully you enjoy high energy and mad creativity, because it's what I love to do. Do we have a current list of projects? Open to new ones? I don't want to step on toes or anything, order and stuff is important. I've got ideas and they want to be free.

Greetings. I am Thor of Asgard. I do not know how I arrived here, nor do I remember going to sleep in such a small craft - though it is not the first I have crashed. It has been good to see familiar faces and I appreciate the concern of the medical staff. A most warm welcome, if thorough. I understand the need, and will aid however I am able as it seems I have arrived in the middle of a plague.

It is odd to me to communicate upon these Midgard Computers, but it is with luck that Jane Foster and Darcy Lewis have prepared me for this day. Perhaps one day I shall form words with all of my fingers. Or defeat the Solitaire. If you respond to this, I shall make every effort to answer in kind. I have also been assigned quarters and can be found there until I had made more sense of my arrival.

The beginners seem to be listening and interested so color me pleasently surprised.

Above is totally a link to a pixelated version of "Plants vs. Zombies". It's endless mode only with stripped down mechanics but it gets the job done. Any video games are good video games.

I coded it up for Neville for Christmas, but figured other people might be interested. There's also a "Harry Potter" mode that can be toggled on and off. This replaces some the plants and enemies with Harry Potter themed stuff. Go get your high score on.

Bruce Banner is gone too, if anyone's been looking for him.
