Castiel watched Gabriel settle in before doing the same — sort of. He sank down onto the opposite couch, his back straight and his knees just far enough apart for him to comfortably rest his hands atop them.
He didn't look nearly as cozy.
"After Lucifer and Michael failed, Raphael decided that the next course of action was to restart the Apocalypse," he said, watching Gabriel carefully. Lower-ranking angels spoke of archangels like Raphael with utmost reverence, but not Castiel.
He averted his eyes, glancing down at his hands instead. "Not everyone agreed with him."
