At least some things never changed. Bonnie grinned openly when she saw a very familiar face calling her over. She headed in that direction gladly, not wasting a moment when she reached out and pulled Caroline into a hug. So much had happened between them over the past few years and while Bonnie didn't always agree with what the group went with, she wouldn't lie and say that becoming a vampire hadn't helped Caroline. She'd really come into her own by making that change and had become a staple in all of their lives for it.
"I'm glad you're here," Bonnie admitted, checking her friend over. Nothing was out of the ordinary, at least not at first glance. Was she going to tell her everything that had happened in their world since? Was it even her place? She didn't know. That was probably the hardest part about all of this. She would want to know, but she didn't know how her friends would take to some of the news that she had to share. She smiled gratefully, pulling back just a moment from her friend.
