It's been a week since I arrived, and I confess thatMr. GreeHenry's absence is felt quite keenly. I have no doubt he would make himself of use here, and likely do it better than both Jacob and I.
Jacob.
Not that I'll ever tell him, but I am glad that he arrived, if only so that I can keep an eye on him better. He'd find all of the trouble in the world if left alone, and I can't have that. So yes, it's better that he's here, and it's better that I can keep him in line... for as much as Jacob can be kept in line.
The lack of Templar knowledge is still alarming, though I remain ever vigilant in my search for knowledge. But the history books tell of different tales than the ones I've heard, absent of Assassins and Templars alike, and while we always strive to keep our names out of things... things are different. Not as well handled. Wars are messy enough, without having people like us to fight them.
I still have yet to tell anyone our true affiliation, even with a lack of Templars. I have made a few.. what you would call friends, but no one I explicitly trust. At least, in this world, I do not have as many worries about classicism, and the impoverish. We are all equals here. Leaders get no more benefits than the dishwashers, as it should be. People always work together under the face of destruction and tragedy.
I'm interested in hearing more about this trial, of Carl Emerson. A werewolf, they have obviously kept the details quite locked down from the rest of us, but I wonder if we'll be able to sit in on the trial to observe, should we not be picked for this jury. A fair trial isn't something I see very often. Or participate in. Sometimes, it's good, and sometimes justice must still be served quickly and quietly. But that's not my place here, and as much as it pains me to admit it, Jacob and I are not the ruling hand unless a Templar or two are to arrive.
But that reminds me, I must do more information gathering on the tool and weapons makers. I have been careful about the bombs, but should we participate in an attack, they will not hold up. Best to be prepared early.
Greetings, I am not sure if I've previously spoken to any of you, but I am Evie Frye. My brother and I arrived this week, and with us came our assorted weaponry. A few of our items are one-time-use sorts, and I was curious if anyone would like to take a look to see if they could be replicated in this world, and would perhaps be useful to others in general in return.
Should you be interested, we have various bombs created (and improved) by Alexander Graham Bell, one being a smoke bomb and the other is called a "voltaic bomb", which stuns enemies for a short period of time. We also have hallucinogenic darts, which causes a person to lose control and attack those around them. They are very strictly monitored and I wouldn't allow just anyone to use them, of course, since the last thing any of us would want is for innocent people to be hurt. But they are useful in certain situations.
