Who - The 10th Doctor and Lucy Saxon What - He hasn't seen Lucy since the Valliant Where - Mess Hall When - Thursday early afternoon Warning - Probably some discussion of domestic abuse Status - In progress
She hadn't been surprised the Doctor wanted to meet with her. She supposed he felt sorry for her. Poor Lucy, sent crazy by the man he'd so wanted to save. Harry had always talked about him. More than anything else, everything he was doing, had been for him. To show off, to prove a point. He'd even taken her as his wife because if the Doctor could have companions, so could he. Lucy knew she was nothing special. Not especially clever or anything. But he'd made her special. Shown her the very worst of the world. The Universe, so cold, so empty at the end.
Harry and the things he'd shown her were probably why this place didn't scare her. Mount Weather, the refugees, the grounders, the apperitions of battle they had all seen. None of it compared to the horror of nothing. She'd adapted well to here actually, gotten on with her day to day tasks. She'd even decided to vote in the council election for Steve Rogers.
Because if one couldn't trust someone like him then who could they trust. Besides he'd listened to her and that meant a lot.
Lucy quickly made her way to the mess hall, not stopping to talk to anyone, though most times people didn't much want to converse with her. She was here to talk to the Doctor after all, and she supposed, to find out what he wanted with her.
Or if it really was just guilt that compelled him here.
