news report; 1

On Monday, April 25, Emma Swan was charged with Negligent discharge of a weapon for her use of magic that caused over 100 citizens of Mount Weather to be sent elsewhere without their consent and have their memories and lives altered. The following day Ms. Swan pleaded guilty to the charges leaving the Council to deliberate on the evidence provided.

Witness statements were read/viewed as well as a book that documented the spell being cast and the lives of those who had been sent to the alternate version of Storybrooke. Ms. Swan’s guilty plea was accepted and her intentions were found to not be malicious in nature. It was also found that over the past few months Ms. Swan was being possessed by a Dark Entity but that she is no longer inhabited by such a force.

Ms. Swan will be released today, Thursday, April 28th, under the following conditions:
  • No magic to be used for the next two months. She will be wearing an anit-magic cuff that the wearer cannot removed.
  • Suspension from the military for two months.

Due to the concerns over magic and the use of it in and around Mount Weather, the Council has decided that a Magic Support and Resources group would be helpful to create a better understanding of the various types of magic that exists in this world. They also would like it to form a checks and balances system for those who use it. Ms. Swan must also attend this group’s meetings.

Any questions or concerns can be directed to the Council.

Who wants to join me at the Rose tonight in a torrent of self-pity for their performance in Weapons club? I should be better, I should not

They've given back your network access, yes?

All right, everybody. Good news. I ran on a big patch of wild garlic and onion. That, plus the cattail, is gonna help our case fiercely. But the best news?

I found a big collection of wild blackberry and mulberry brambles. When they get ripe in a couple months, I think we'll be in good shape to try a cobbler.

You still want a show? Radio show, storytelling on the air.

Goodbye I'm glad knowing, despite manifold dangers and duress, we do get back to the business of living as best we know rather quickly.

At least the bird shit, the goat shit and the cow shit reminds me of such things. Everything and everyone has a job.

Welcome back.

Hello. My name is Bonnie Bennett. I'm a witch and have been speaking back and forth with Willow Rosenberg, another witch. We have been planning to form some sort of magical support group and, after seeing the notice in Miss Lane's report, have been directed to speak with Council members as well. I'm not sure what we need in order to go forward with this, but we have some subjects in mind already and know that we wish to discuss different types of magic around here.

Shout out to everyone who was in the mess hall the other day and ended up being a great audience during an impromptu wedding. And shout out to the unseen forces that let it happen without anything crazy putting it on hold.

Uh, you okay over there?

Glad to see a resolution. Sure hope it quiets down around here now.

After a bunch of... how should I say this nicely, mishaps? Inconveniences? Hiccups? After a bunch of that, we finally made it to the night before the show. I hope everyone comes out tomorrow night or Saturday night to see Little Shop of Horrors, because we worked really hard and it's going to be great. I'm really proud of all of us.

If I don't see you there, pretend I'm frowning at you like Captain America does when he's disappointed in someone. I think we all know that face.
