Erik Lensherr is confident in his ability to retrieve the Witch's wand from a distance, and to hold her in place temporarily. For the latter, I'd prefer a method not reliant on one individual's strength. As for the wand, there is the question as to whether we destroy it immediately or hold it as evidence. It is a powerful magical artifact and one to be wary of.

I was also curious as to what investigators have learned in contacting the Grounders. I know certain matters cannot be rushed, but it has grown noticeably colder, and her power is only likely to grow.

The months aren't the same here, but it is, or should be spring, and Easter seems the appropriate time for remembering Beruna a and Aslan. There's no time really for the ceremonies we used to hold, and I always hated those but I plan to take just a half hour or so, if either of you care to join me.

As much as I love sabacc, I'm equally intrigued by all the other card games people know here. Hence, I'm thinking of broadening sabacc club to a general card games night. Bring your favorite card game and we'll have time to learn knew games and folks to break up into small groups to play a few different things at once. I know there was talk of poker, 500, and a few other games as well.


(Also, I now have a mini sabacc table, so if we can convert the power source, you can see the changing values in action versus freezing their value etc.)

Last weekend I got something very special in the Pod drop. At least it's very special to me. I got a blanket Yes, that is actually a picture of me. I also got some holos from home including some of Ben as a newborn which I appreciated since I wasn't there when he was born. Well I was and I'm in the holos which is strange since I'm also here but regardless, back to the blanket.

When I was a kid, Aunt Beru used to let me play with it. She told me that when I came to live with them, that was wrapped around me and someday she'd give it to me so that I could wrap my own children in it. I wasn't really that interested in that part at the time because I was probably around seven and what seven year old boy wants to think about being a father? I forgot about it when I got older even though it was still there but it never really hit me that it was anything special. Not until I was older and I knew that I'd never see it again because it was destroyed along with everything else when the Empire burned my aunt and uncle's home.

The so called Pod God proved me wrong though. It showed up along with some other things and I was happy to see it. It's the only thing I have of my birth mother's, she touched it and held me in it even though I don't remember, even if she barely got the chance to hold Leia and me before she died. Now I can share it with Ben. Like me, he has no clue what it means but someday he will. Someday he'll have a little piece of my history to pass on to his children. I'm glad that I have the chance to give it to him.

It's been a while since I read the books, but I remember that she managed to send Aslan out of Narnia for a long time. I don't remember if they ever said where she sent him, though. I expect we'd be easier to banish from this world, seeing as we're not Aslan, but possibly harder, too, because this world isn't Narnia. I've noticed that people's magical powers haven't always worked properly here.

You know something? In my experience, people like that White Witch out there are on shakier foundations than they think they are. The last time I met someone like that, my infant brought them down.

FARMERS:

This probably seems like an odd question, especially right now, but is there an extra sun lamp I could borrow or trade for? I got my plant in the last pod drop and I don't want to leave her outside to get any light. :( If not, could I have a little space in the greenhouse? I'll come by to water her, she'll just get all wilty and die if I just stick her on my desk.

Alright, I need to see what I can do to rig up a karaoke machine.



Maybe then we can have a sing off with Jadis.
