I have cologne that smells like apple pie and liberty that I put on when I'm going out. Unfortunately, it didn't make the trip here with me.
I wanted to make a difference in the world. So many men were out there fighting, and I wanted to be out there with them, doing what I could to stand up for what was right. The serum was my chance to do that. It was a big risk, but I thought it was the only way I could do what I wanted. I don't think it's changed a whole lot. I still want to stand up for the things I wanted back then, and the world still needed it. The world's different than it was, though, and the things we're fighting are different. Here, I want to see us create a community that we're proud of. We need to continue working at what it means to be part of this -- clan, I suppose I should say. What we represent, who we want to be, what ideals we want to uphold and live for.
I would have gone back to look for Bucky in the Alps.
