I want someone to tell Miss Marianne that just because a man saves you from the terrors of a sprained ankle, it does not mean he is in fact a good man. Not leaving a woman to hobble across a hillside is ordinary decency, not bold heroism. I know she is only nineteen, but that is silly even for nineteen.
