Finn wrapped his arms warmly around her when she sank in against him on the couch. Being comfortable with her had always been one of the best feelings in the world. They had been by each other's side for so long now. With Lynn gone, no one knew him better than her.
He let out a snort of laughter when she pretended to start snoring.
"How elegant," he murmured against the top of her head.
He glanced up when she cursed at the cat, not surprised at all to see Gigi sitting at the other end of the couch. She froze when she saw Finn and just stared at him for a minute, obviously challenging him to say anything or try to move her. He had done that a lot when they had first moved in. He didn't bother anymore. Fighting Gigi over almost anything was absolutely a losing battle.
