"Yeah," Sam answered with a slight nod, "in a bit."
It was strange, seeing Maggie again. It was familiar and painful in ways that overlapped. Watching her walk away from her life here in Storybrooke had broken his heart -- not that he was willing to admit it. Seeing her come back stirred up some of the same feelings, but it was good, too. They'd always had a good rapport, personally and professionally, so the business owner in Sam was glad to have a reliable employee back. The man behind the business owner was glad to have her back, too, for more personal reasons.
"Just went back home to take Dean out," he continued. His gaze had drifted over to where Josh was playing, and he watched the little boy intently. "Shoulda brought him along for a walk, but..." His brown and white border collie went almost everywhere with him, but he wasn't really at home in a bar. "That's Josh, huh?"
