Who: Willow Rosenburg and Bellamy Blake What: Willow asked Bellamy if they can meet up. Where: 501 Common Room When: Today, mid morning Warnings: None
Willow felt awkward as she stepped into the common room. She was very aware that she had not mingled with a lot of people since her arrival. She kicked herself for isolating herself but was determined to change it and make some friends. She thought about how long she could be here and the reality that her life, family, some friends and Oz were all left behind.
She moved across the room looking for somewhere to sit. Even this decision she found difficult to make, she wandered past the furniture pausing every so often, sitting and then looking around before standing up and moving off again. Willow told herself off, it was a simply meeting someone for a chat, but she had no idea why she as feeling like this. Then she look up at the ceiling and realised what she already knew, she missed the outdoors, she could not break away from the stifling feeling of being underground.
She eventually found somewhere to sit and sat down, she looked around the room, watching some people coming and going. So many faces, some more familiar than others, but she found difficult to place. She wondered how long some of them had been here. Her observations were some looked more comfortable than others, then she realised that she could just be projecting her own insecurities.
Willow then realised she had bought a book with her, she opened it up and put in front of her looking like she was about to read. She looked at where she had left the book and realised she was several chapters in and probably had not taken a word of it in. She mused at how she had never felt settled since being here. She wondered if she ever would.
She looked at the clock and realised she had been very early for the appointment she had made with Bellamy, then Willow's thoughts expanded to, would Bellamy be late, or not arrive at all. Willow realised she was massively over thinking this and settled back looking at the door.
