In the sense of... turning to being Daredevil (or just sparring here, I suppose) as a form of escapism? In some ways I think all of us do that a little bit, but I'm not sure that necessarily means it's about the violence per se. There are other things attractive about it, like the fact that there's usually a well defined enemy. It's easier to be able to draw a line and say, that person is bad, rather than trying to sort out the good and bad aspects within someone and how to relate to those. And, yeah, getting into a fight is just plain satisfying sometimes. Maybe the question is whether you're able to sit with conflicted feelings about a situation without going there. Is violence the only way you cope with things or can you achieve the same thing another way? Or for that matter, whether getting into a fight actually helps.
