Tim hasn't had time to come into The Fury in a while, his boss has been keeping him busy playing messenger boy, which although Tim does it. It's not his favorite job. Too many pissing contests which require him to keep his temper and use words instead of bullets or fists.

Despite the fact that he threatened Daniel, Tim knows that there's almost no chance he'll ever get an order to take the man down. Daniel's good and it would create waves and disrupt business and in this case? Waves were bad.

He's looking forward to a relaxing night off, gets a drink and finds an empty table. Tim lights a cigarette and exhales slowly, eyes gazing around the room checking for trouble before he relaxes a little.

John's finished his set, showered away the sweat of performance (along with the touches of make-up he won't admit to wearing on stage), and left jacket and tie in his dressing room. It's late enough that the club's pretty hot, dancefloor full, and he's not missing it.

He catches sight of the man at the table before reaching the bar, and detours. Complete with his best smile shined up for the occasion. "Mr. Olyphant. Didn't see you arrive, sir. Can I get you anything?"

	Luck's not got a lot to do with it, but John still smiles before setting the cigarette between his lips and leaning towards the flame, slow inhale to catch light. "Thanks. Glad you think so." 	"Nice to be back. I've been a busy man, running my legs to stumps for the boss." That's an innocuous enough statement. "Good to get a night to myself." Tim takes another drag, eyes locked on John's face. "Can't seem to recall you ever paying much mind to my comings and goings." Which of course makes him wonder who's been talking the man. 	"I pay attention to everyone's comings and goings." It's flavored with innuendo. Of course it is, because it's John, but it's also truth. And a large part of his job beyond being up there on stage and singing pretty. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	"Partly," John agrees, and loops his arms around Tim's neck. It keeps him from restricting Tim's movements, but more, it keeps him from blocking access to any weapons Tim might be carrying. 	Tim's relatively unarmed. Mostly. He's never completely unarmed. The hand on John's back tightens, pulling him in so they're hip to hip, bodies flush together.
