[Final Fantasy VII] [Shera] [Rated E] A Wonder
Title: A Wonder
Fandom/Pairing: Final Fantasy VII pre-AC; Shera, Cid
Rating: ESRB Rating of E for Everyone < no objectionable content >
Summary: The responsibilities of teaching--at a flight school, no less--weigh more than she expected.
Notes: n/a

The responsibilities of teaching--at a flight school, no less--weigh more than she expected. The first time she takes care of engine grease on her classroom floor, alone, half an hour after the lecture, it's surreal. The subsequent times, it's frustrating.

But the corrections that bother her, that stay with her for days, are the ones she makes to vital aerodynamics equations. Mistakes that, made in the field, could get people killed.

"A wonder," one student writes on her end-of-the-year review. Cid lights up around a smile, laughs after a drag.

They don't mention the oxygen tank. It's not necessary.
