i n t r o d u c t i o n

They call it "The Game."

Once every few decades, when the full moon rises on the night of Halloween, a door between dimensions may be accessed—a door whose opening or closing determines the fate of the world as we know it. At this time, those select individuals who play the Game gather at a predetermined site to either hold the doors closed or help to open them. Should the Closers, those who are satisfied the world as it is, win, everything remains unchanged until the next game rolls around; if the Openers (who may dislike the current world, yearn for a change, or are simply curious) are triumphant, it is said that the world will be recreated, possibly causing the destruction of mankind.

Throughout the month of October, the Players take sides, form alliances, make deals, and even kill off members of the opposition to tip the scale in their favor, all while completing the numerous preparations required for the final night of the month.

Based on the novel A Night in the Lonesome October by Roger Zelazny, 10/31 is an AU RPG open to all members of the Asian entertainment industry.

g u i d e l i n e s

⋙ Roleplay can be done on both IJ and AIM.

⋙ All claims, drops, and hiatus notices should be made in the community.

⋙ While there is no muse limit, we ask that you do not claim more than two idols from a single band or group.

⋙ All journals should be used solely for

tenthirtyone. No personal stuff, no sharing journals between RPGs. To mass add all of the muse journals in the community, use the friends builder.

⋙ Your claim must be approved by a mod before you may start playing.

⋙ Keep IC drama IC. Same for OOC issues.

⋙ Godmoding (making your muse all-powerful, controlling the actions of other muses) and metagaming (your muse using information that wasn't actually presented to them IC) will not be tolerated.

⋙ Please use proper spelling and grammar.

⋙ Activity checks will be done occasionally. All a muse has to do to avoid being cut is participate regularly in IJ and AIM logs.

⋙ For a smooth roleplaying experience, everyone should read and become very familiar with the additional information about the game.

⋙ Killing muses in-game is permitted. However, both the mun of the victim and the mun(s) of the murderer(s) must agree and then have the murder approved by a mod beforehand (for the sake of order, please bear with us). Please note that any murdered muses will be permanently unplayable from there on out.
