WHO: Remy and Rogue WHEN: Sunday, 6:00 PM WHERE: Outside Rogue's room WHAT: Settling a bet and going out on the town
Remy wasn't kidding when he said he had someplace fancy in mind. He had actually shirked wearing one of his many trench coats. Instead, he stood in front of Rogue's door wearing black slacks, a white button-up shirt, a purple vest, and a black long jacket. Granted, this was an outfit he'd had in New Orleans only to get into exclusive clubs and cheat at poker, but it was among the nicest of his clothing. It was time to impress the little lady some more.
An outsider might assume he was moving fast. He'd barely spoken to Rogue previously - not for a lack of trying, but definitely due to a lack of being single at times - and now he was taking her out someplace high class. But he had been waiting for this, and Remy rarely waited for anything.
He had said to meet him, he just hadn't said where, so the Cajun figured he was safe waiting for her right outside her door. She couldn't miss him then, right? And it would help them avoid awkward questions - if he waited alone downstairs all dressed up, he would attract a good many more stares among the higher traffic area.
One hand slipped into his pocket, flipping the corners of a deck of cards inside. He raised his other hand up, glancing to a watch he had put on just for the occasion of heading out - the second hand ticked a few times, and then it was exactly 6:00 PM. He grinned. "*Now don't keep me waiting too long, little lady,*" he said in French, grin in its usual place across his face.
