Discussions on APEC, including that really bloody annoying fence, go here. For those of you living under rocks, a fence 2.8 meters high is being erected around CBD (Central business district). Photo ID will be needed to cross some streets, dog sniffers and body checks will be in abundance, and we've all being advised to stay home.

Personally, i'm quite annoyed; I normally spend my weekends wandering around the CBD, tourist-watching and reading in Kinokuniya. I'm going to be going in when the fence is up and taking some pictures of it, since you never know when pictures of giant fences will be useful for your art portfolio.
