AnimeSydney Christmas Party Heh. I don't know if their are any animefans here around? And hopefully this won't be a problem? I just wanted to pimp out the Fox Studios ice rink! It's open till 7:30pm on weekdays, and I think open till 10pm on Friday's and Saturdays, there is hardly a soul there, and ice skating is plenty of fun and good excercise! I want it to come back next year, so hop on it and get skating. |

Remember, everybody. The last thing you want to do is catch the flu, and if you have it, the last thing you want to do is spread it. Stay indoors, and don't contact other people. There's lots of quaratining going on, and it's a real bugger for the hospitals to get all the infected people in a safe ward, only to have a new flu case stroll in and potentially infect everyone in the Emergency Department- Unless you're really bad with the flu, do not go to the hospital. Ah, it was a gloomy day in Sydney! I went out to take pictures of buskers, but the skies opened up, and I ended up having to shelter in the underground, venturing out only to run across streets and whimper my way to the bus stop. Nevertheless, I took some good pictures of some of the old buildings/murals around, and I present these in lieu of buskers. ( Read more... ) There are so many nice old buildings, hidden away! |

Discussions on APEC, including that really bloody annoying fence, go here. For those of you living under rocks, a fence 2.8 meters high is being erected around CBD (Central business district). Photo ID will be needed to cross some streets, dog sniffers and body checks will be in abundance, and we've all being advised to stay home. Personally, i'm quite annoyed; I normally spend my weekends wandering around the CBD, tourist-watching and reading in Kinokuniya. I'm going to be going in when the fence is up and taking some pictures of it, since you never know when pictures of giant fences will be useful for your art portfolio. You?
