I apologize for not having been active lately, but... well, real life has been keeping me unusually busy and things seemed fairly dead here so I've been slacking off on my duties. I regret to inform you that I'm going to be basically absent for another week (the 10th to the 18th) for a family vacation. The wireless in the cottage next to ours might possibly reach my computer, but I doubt it. Anyway, after I return I promise to be super active to make it up to you all.

Hi everyone. I'm Skye, and you all seem really fun, so I'm really glad to be part of the RPG. :D I'll be playing the part of the littlest Black, Regulus. He's a mama's boy through and through, and he's a little confused right now, but that doesn't mean he's still not a snarky arsehole. He's in his 7th year right now, so he'll only be available on weekends and holidays for actual roleplay. I'm thinking of picking up a second character (Gladys or Galvin, maybe?) to solve that problem. Anyway, he still needs buddies and such, so I was wondering if anyone was up for that? I can't wait to get started roleplaying with you all. Oh, and my AIM screen name is ohx wow skye, feel free to contact me there!
EDIT: Decided on Gladys. She's an party-girl alcoholic slutbag, who enjoys dancing, singing, and getting into trouble. She's an ex-Ravenclaw, but you wouldn't know it.

I had planned on posting this post a couple of days ago but I got caught up in other things so I never really got the chance & I'M A LAZY COW.
I'm going on holiday for two weeks starting at 4am tomorrow morning. (: I won't have any internet access, though it is possible that I'll have some during the first week. This explains the disappearance of both Dorcas and James - they're going on an Order mission to France as well (because I am creative) all they have to do is look for something, it isn't anything dangerous but that won't stop the Potter from coming back and drastically explaining everything as if his life was in danger 23 hours of the day. Evan is VISITING HIS MOTHER, AW, MOTHER LOVE. Ha, I actually don't know about him. It's in his nature to not waste time with a journal anyway so I doubt I really need a reason for him.
I'll be in and out of my room all day - my dad just bugged me into helping him - he as this amazing talent of instantly making me feel guilty. I also haven't packed yet. Looks like I'll be going on holiday with about two items of clothing. xD
I'll be around to reply to threads which is what I'm trying to do now, so that when I leave I don't mess anything up. And I'm planning on staying up all night anyway so I'll be around quite a bit (apart from when my dad drags me away). Obviously, my parents disagree with this and my mum is trying to force me into going out with my friends while they celebrate the 4th of July. Yes, us Brits are celebrating the day America got their independence from us. |: I've said no, unless she wants me to be grouchy and throw up in her hair in the car (: /LIFE-LONG RAMBLE.
SO YEAH. I come back on 19 July. MISS ME AND MY CHARACTERS LOTS OR ELSE.

From the person who brought you Narcissa Black, here's Caradoc! Hmm, okay. Just want to inform all of you that I (Sam) have taken up Caradoc Dearborn, yay! The purpose of this post was to see if any of you had plots that you'd like to make with Caradoc. I'm actually looking forward to making use of the brucas/leyton icons. Bwahahah. Not in an evil way, I hope. Caradoc, Caradoc. He's a former Ravenclaw, circa Marauder era. He's affilated with the Order. He's looking to be an auror, and in fact is being held back by his laziness. He's not quick to judge and as an idealist values all and shows no prior prejudice, unless he's really drunk and/or you gave him a reason not to like you. Call him Cara or Carrie and die. He loves the women. Any woman, so long as she's not ugly. His last relationship left him a bit broken, actually. That was in fifth year and he still hasn't gotten over it. Poor bloke. Caradoc's smart but lazy. You know, the usual. He'll work when he feels passionate enough or is driven or is forced or is blackmailed. He didn't come from a lot of money and has some relations with muggles. He also has a secret library he likes to hideout in when he has a hangover has the time and wants quiet. He likes drinking though, a lot. He'll be more likely to party though rather than read, even though he does read. Friends? Best friends? Lovers? History?

Hey, guys. Another post from your friendly mods. Just a few reminders! When you start a roleplay and/or a log, please note that you're rping two months ahead (August) but you're still on the same day (it's Tuesday, June 17 now, so it would be Tuesday, August 17). While we know the dates are not accurate, it's easier to roleplay. So, if it's Monday and you're roleplaying Saturday, please either change the date or say it's backdated. That way, there will be no confusion as to what date it is.
Another thing, we've noticed quite a few one-liners at the rpg community. While this is acceptable for a journal entry, we would prefer it if you don't do this with rping. We're all about quality before quantity, but sometimes it's really hard to reply to something if it's just a (for example;) "Yes," he said. So, we're requesting every reply must be five lines or more. We know it's hard when you have writer's block, but please try.

Hey there everyone!
My name is J.R., and I'll be playing Gideon Prewett. Gideon is the older twin of Fabian. unlike the tempestuous Fabian, he's laid back and more likely to think things through before putting his foot in it. As a result, he's often thought of as the 'other' twin. Get to know him and you'll find an understated quirky humor, a strong will, and even a bit of a Slytherin streak in him. He's just recently become a Mediwizard. His full information is posted in his journal.
Me? I'm a lighting designer for the theatre located in the Eastern United States. I have unusually long arms, enjoy a wide variety of music, worked behind the counter of a porn store for a year, and have been roleplaying journal style for just two years now. This is my first non-trio era game and my first non-Ravenclaw character and I'm really looking forward to both.

My name is Natalie and I'm joining the group as Emmeline Vance (played by Anna Brewster). I've been RPGing for less than a year, but the one I belonged to (where I played Bill Weasley and Katie Bell) ended up going defunct. So I saw SWG and decided to join! I've always liked the Maurauders' Era more anyway!
Emmeline is an Order member, a former Ravenclaw (Class of '78), and a Healer Trainee at Saint Mungo's (which means she'll likely see lots of Gideon, if he's a Mediwizard. I saw that on your profile yesterday!). Her profile is posted on her journal, and she looks forward to getting closer to some of your characters.

We’ve decided to add a little spice to our original plot with a sub-plot, designed by Elizabeth. We want to get this show on the road and we want to encourage characters who wouldn’t talk under the watchful eyes of others to get together and enjoy that time in their company. To do this a party by an unknown member of the public will be held in an underground club that only witches and wizards know about. The Ministry has no say in what goes on in this club and it is known only by word of mouth – never advertised, never promoted, never spoken about above a whisper.
The underground club is open twice every month on an evening that is announced anonymously to its customers a couple of days beforehand. Before entering the club you must wear a mask. No costumes, though I’m afraid to say. Only a mask to disguise your features so that no other person inside the club will be able to distinguish you. These masks will be magically glued to your face, no other person will be able to take the mask off and there is a magical guard around the club that prohibits you from removing it inside the club. Therefore, it is pretty impossible for you or any other to remove the mask and reveal yourself.
The objective of this plot is for Death Eaters, citizens and Order members to mingle in circumstances where nothing else matters. This can either be taken seriously, or as a fun task. We want everyone involved, relationships formed or broken. The characters can write about the events that taken place in the club.

Hello all!
First of all, forgive me mods if there were multiple invites to join the comms! My computer was being completely uncooperative the last few days. Secondly, sorry it took me so long to get to this!
Sam here, and happy to present the immaculate Narcissa Black! Narcissa's the baby of the Black family and is very good at playing spoiled youngest daughter as well as fantastic sister to Bellatrix and Andromeda. While she and her sisters share a strong bond, I cannot say exactly as to where her loyalties lie in terms of who she favors most. I can tell you that she's probably more inclined towards Andromeda just because she's the nicer of the two. I see Narcissa as the monkey-in-the-middle, not entirely anti-muggle but definitely not pro-muggle either. She's still finding her bearings on the looming pureblood versus muggle/half blood war. Even though her stance is neutral, it can't be expected of her to be accommodative of muggles/half bloods because of the whole imposing Black dynasty thing that the family's got going on. Narcissa is a good example of one of those extremely well-bred Slytherin graduates and will most probably bite your head off if you're a Gryffindor. She can remain extremely civil up to a point where you strike a nerve, and her nerves are relatively thick. So expect a snarl if you snarl first.
Anyway, plots? Anything? Let me know!
That said, it's great to meet you and I look forward to roleplaying with all of you shortly.

Hello! I'm Michelle, a sixteen (almost seventeen, what.) year old girl who will be playing Andromeda Black, the good sister (who gets totally jipped in DH, uh.) with some major family issues. She's really a nice, friendly girl, lest you catch her with her sisters; then not so much. She hates her job where nobody talks to her because she's a Black and therefore either a) a death eater or b) in cahoots with a death eater, both of which she is not. She lives alone in a small flat and rarely has any visitors, so she spends most of her time alone.
Oh, and also, just so you know, the reason I don't have userpics is because IJ won't let me. :( And it isn't just my computer, I don't think, because it did the same on another one. But as soon as I can get them on, I will. IMAGINE the icons. BELIEVE in them. :D
So hello, nice to meet you all! Um, I guess plot, yes? :)
