WHO: Hermes Granger, Ronnie Weasley. WHAT: A visit (it'll be less boring than that... most likely). WHEN: Wednesday, July 30th, 2003 (8:40ish). WHERE: Ronnie & Hailey's flat. STATUS: In Progress. RATING: TBD. TAGGED?: Yes. F-LOCKED?: No, by request.
Sometime since his uneventful house party, Hermes had begun to seriously consider what exactly was 'going on' between himself and Ronnie. That considered, and having had a fairly productive day at the Ministry, he decided just before suppertime to pay a surprise visit on his best-friend-turned-quasi-romantic-interest. He knew from the appearance of Hailey at 'the office' that she wasn't going to be home, so Ronnie was all alone. Or, if she wasn't, well, he'd deal with that when he came to it. If she wasn't home at all? He'd... well... head back home and spend the evening with Crookshanks. There was one lady he could depend on for a bit of continuity. He'd fill her bowl, she'd come sit in his lap for a spell, and they'd both retire to bed. It was a pleasant arrangement; one he hoped to replace in the future. Perhaps with a different ginger.
Being that he wasn't a typical fellow (far more practical than romantic), and Veronica wasn't the typical female, he'd opted to bring her the surprise of a bottle of wine (the vintage was something he'd been attempting to bring her around to) as opposed to flowers or chocolates. Besides, this was merely a visit. It wasn't a date, especially considering it was a surprise. He popped into existence outside their door, holding the wine in the narrow box he'd spelled to keep it cool, then knocked. "Ronnie?" Hermes said, before turning the knob. He'd long since been instructed not to wait around for someone to answer the door properly at Hailey and Ronnie's apartment. They were all too close and the girls too lazy to feel the need to give him a proper greeting (apparently) each and every time he visited. The same went for his own home, however. He loved the idea of being so close to people that they could come and go as they pleased. That said, he entered and glanced around in case the redhead was in the entry way or the living space. "Ronnie?" he cleared his throat and began to announce himself, before he realized that that was a bit ridiculous. "You decent?" Was she ever?
