Multi-panel version of Editorial, because I was using it for [info]notdaredevil and it had such walls of text that it was difficult to sort out once you started scrolling for a while. So I set out to make a more compact version that would organize the information better, and I'm really pleased with the result. :D

If you'd like to change the colors, find/replace the following:

1. Copy/paste the code into your entry.
2. Replace BACKGROUNDIMG with a gif or other image of your choice (500px wide or more is recommended). Like with my other layouts that involve background images in the layout, you might have to fiddle with background-size and background-position to get it the way you want. I designed the layout specifically around the image above, is it might take a little tweaking. :)
3. Replace USERPIC with a userpic of your choice.
5. Fill it in! I tried to mark out the different sections and make it clear where text goes.
6. Enjoy!

btw, there's a glitch in your code. look for the 4

(/div)

but with the proper punctuation, and get rid of the (/a) cause it shows up on abilities, history, and notes, and pushes the content box too far down, so the drop shadow isn't visible. everything seems to work fine without it, and i couldn't see what that (/a) was closing.

Yes! Here's the code for one of the buttons:



See where it says margin-left? Increase that number from 30px to whatever number works for you - try ~around~ 400px instead. Just remember to do it for all of the buttons (find/replace works nicely) or else they'll end up all over the place :)

Hello again! I absolutely love your codes, as you know (since I adored the Dragon Age one a few months ago and commented on it).

Dreamwidth is treating this code very strangely. It keeps shoving the right side of the div down, so it's a sidebar and then a bunch of empty space, like it can't fit everything. However, changing this line of code helped:



855px fixes it on dreamwidth, rather than the old measurement, which was 850px.

The 'canon point/etc' line in the header also seems to be sort of melting down the page on chrome? I tweaked it a little (smaller picture, deleted the line of code that refused to stay up) and you can see it in action here.

I kinda wish I knew why it was being dicks, but ah well. Thought I'd bring it to your attention though I'm not sure if there's really anything you can do about it.
