Date: 9/6, before school
Characters: Quinn, Coach Bieste
Location: Coach Bieste's office
Warning: None
Summary: Quinn turns in Lizzie for buying papers for school on the internet.
Quinn was casually scrolling through the friend's list of her journal one night when she stumbled upon Lizzie talking about how she bought papers online all the time for school. Seriously, Clabots made it way too easy for her. The blonde printed off the conversation, edited out things that would lead it back to Puck (because they were actually on good terms now and she really didn't want to see him go back to Juvie for something stupid like this), then grinned to herself in satisfaction.
The next day, Quinn arrived early and smiled when she saw that the light was on in Coach Bieste's office. She knocked quietly and waited until she was called in.
Coach Bieste gave her a nod and motioned towards the chair across from her desk. Once the blonde was seated, she asked, "What can I do for you, Fabray?"
Quinn bit her lip, pretending to be nervous (though she was really jumping for joy inside), then said, "I don't know if I should even be here. I mean... Maybe I should just go."
This caught the teacher's attention. "What's wrong? If you're having problems, it's my job to do what I can. You can trust me. You did the right thing by coming here."
"It's not me. I just... I don't want other kids harassing me and calling me a snitch if I tell you what I came here to tell you," Quinn said, still feigning nerves.
"I take bullying seriously, Quinn, and I'll do whatever I can to protect you. You can trust me," Coach Bieste repeated, hoping that the blonde girl in front of her would confide in her.
"Well... I came across a student talking about academic cheating while I was reading a friend's journal online. I, um, printed it out. I know it probably looks like I have a rocky relationship with the Cheerios since I'm no longer on the squad, but, honestly, I would have been uncomfortable with this no matter who the person," she admitted, and slid the paper across Coach Bieste's desk. "I really don't want to be a snitch, but as a student on the honor roll, I value academic achievement and it's not fair when people aren't earning their grades."
What a performance. She deserved an award for this. Lizzie was going down.
Quinn could see the surprise on Coach Bieste's face as she skimmed through the papers. "Well this is certainly shocking. Thank you for bringing this to me, Quinn. It was the right thing to do. And when I go to Principal Figgins to determine disciplinary action, you'll remain anonymous. This stays just between us, okay?"
"Thank you so much, Coach Bieste. That really does make me feel better. Well, I don't want to be late for my first class, so I better go," Quinn said, standing up, and smiling across the desk.
"Sure thing, Fabray. And, if you ever want to get back into sports that isn't the Cheerios, you should consider golf. It's a lot more intense than you'd imagine. I think you'd do well," Coach Bieste said as she put the papers from Quinn to the side.
"I'll keep that in mind," Quinn replied before smiling again and walking out. Fat chance.
