This is Camden Spinks, a twenty-seven year old resident working at Tisch medical center. He did his undergrad work at Columbia University, his medical schooling at NYU, and is one of the most neurotic people on this planet. He has to be the best, spends more time on his work than anyone else he knows. He can be high strung, overly analytical, and has a hard time making personal connection due to his analytical, high strung nature.
He is single, very quietly homosexual, is afraid of coming out and having his patients switch off his service. When he actually does relax, he likes to hang out with his cat, drink copious amounts of kosher wine, and tell bad chemistry jokes. He can be convinced at times to actually loosen up and have some fun.
He is pretty open for anything and everything. Fellow residents/doctors at the hospital. A roommate would be great too. His sister, who is much more easy going than he is. Any storylines that could fit.

Hello! This is Tegan Larimer, a 23 year old from Berlin, Germany who’s now (obviously) living in New York. Tegan was an art student at NYU until she graduated in 2008, and now she sculpts in what little free time she has - she spends most of her life working, either at the Museum of Modern Art as a tour guide or at the gallery ![[info]](http://www.insanejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif) vidaweinberg curates at. Tegan lives in Brooklyn with two roommates I’m still looking for, and her chihuahua, Pepita. She’s not really one of those girls who carries around a little dog in their purse, but she is very affectionate with Pepi and will carry her in her arms when the dog gets tired. She’s devoted to her.
Tegan is a very social person. She’ll talk to absolutely anyone. She has a healthy appreciation for Lady Gaga, Abba, and everything else lively and cheesy that you can think of. (She’s never read the Twilight books but she swoons over film-Jacob.) She’s bisexual but not recognizably so - she doesn’t date, really, because she can’t find anyone who’s interested in her enough to! She doesn’t mind too much. Tegan’s quite the brain, she’s multilingual (French, German and English are her languages) and she still bears a very slight German accent on some words. I would love some friends for her! Or anything else. I’m willing to brainstorm!

This little gem is Liv, little sister to loxes and lowr, the most interesting sister (in Liv's opinion anyway). She is slightly irrational, the kind of girl who follows her impossible sense of adventure. Literally she might disappear off the face of the planet if the adventure perked her interests. Liv was born in England but moved to this great city before she was fully out of diapers, and than moved back to England to live with her paternal family when she was thirteen. She than ran away with a group of gypsies when she was sixteen and came back about a year ago.
She is living in Williamburg, crashing at her mother's place for now. Liv is helping her sister Lowri out at Wilde Rumpus but she reads palms, tarot cards, astrology charts and horoscopes for a number of clients. If anyone wants to be her client it would be great, Liv doesn't lie and lets everyone know right off the bat that she isn't psychic but uses these techniques to help others out, basically to give advice when needed sort of thing. Liv doesn't charge a rate price or anything, she does her work on donations. Liv is in the works of getting her GED because she never graduated and might take steps to attend a community college in the near future. She is in no rush but has sisters constantly bugging her about those kind of things.
I would love anykind of line really, some friends would be great, clients even more fun.

hellooooo everyone! i'm hoping to brin in miss remy st.james, a 24 year old who has been in nyc since her teens. she was born in south africa, raised in london and ended up in the big apple all due to her father's business career but she loves the city and can't imagine going anywhere else.
remy, in a nutshell, is a whole lot of attitude wrapped up in a small package. she's smart, sassy and full of opinions that she isn't afraid to share. she was recently married to girlfriend of eight months, allert, on a trip to canada and is still trying to wrap her head around the idea of being someone's wife. she's very gay and very flirty with an almost unhealthy appreciation for beautiful women but ultimately her heart belongs to her wife, of course.
remy has a deep love for classic rock, vampire fiction (think buffy and true blood, not twilight), old school mario videogames, comic books, and fashion. she just recently opened a small gallery which displays both her own paintings and other artist's.
line wise i would like everything. a best friend, ex girlfriends, a friend who is getting way too into planning the formal wedding, fellow artists, regular buyers, people she doesn't get along with...really everything.

Okay, here goes. This is Natalie Guilder, an almost 24 year old photography assistant at Harper's Bazaar who lives in the Meatpacking District (she's living off the money of her father, who's a writer of historical fiction, Nicholas Guilder). Natalie is a fun kind of girl - some of the time. She likes to party but she's usually the sober one taking photographs more than the drunk one making out with other girls (although honestly that's been known too). She's known for taking photos of everything. She had a project where she took a photograph of what was going on outside her apartment window every day for what was supposed to be a year, but because she took it every morning as her neighbour kuss was going to work, he thought she was stalking him (which was just an added bonus, honestly) but, it made her stop and she hasn't resumed it yet. If she couldn't be a photographer, she'd like to be an ice dancer (never mind that she has no balance at all). In person, she seems serious. She's quite quiet and appears solemn, but she does know how to have a good time and once she gets to know someone she opens up. Woooow, I wrote a novel. Sorry! I'd love any kind of line. She has a best friend in har and a neighbor/friend/stalkee in kuss but anything else is fair game! Thanks!

Hey. So I'm likely going to apply within the next couple of days... if all of it goes well, I'd love to have a whole lot going on. I'm gonna apply with this guy here, Sam Sagan, who is an up-and-coming young actor who currently lives in Greenpoint, Brooklyn. Also his grandfather was a rather successful politician, so, you know, you can pretend his name has a familiar ring to it...
Anyhow, he moved to the city from the suburbs of Boston so he could attend New School University for theatre arts. He loves all sorts of mischief and pranks -- whether it be coordinating the right amount of windows in a building so that the few rooms that are left lit up at night, when you stand along side the structure, the linearly placed windows spell out an obscene word; or maybe he placed a guinea pig in someone's bag while wandering around a pet store -- though it may be hard to gather that at first, since his overall demeanor is laid-back to the point of lazy, and generally very friendly. So maybe he can know someone he's pranked who found it amusing, or wants revenge? Someone he knows because he frequently ran into them? Someone's he's acted with?
Or, moreover, his mother, who is a bit of a nutter, is also an artist, so maybe someone who knows about her previous acting career or gets music lessons from her? Or has hired her to take photographs?
This is getting a bit wordy so I apologize, but I'm honestly willing to worm around almost anything you throw at me. If you've got some idea, hit me with it! Thanks in advance.

Josie is a bit of a hippy, free spirited, artist. She likes the strange bohemian people. She also likes to get into trouble. Trespassing and generally sneaking into places she shouldn't be is a past time for her. She isn't destructive though. She isn't an angry punk who needs to write her name on everything she just likes being sneaky. Her family is Jewish and she likes to make fun of herself for being a Jew but she isn't religious. Her first love is the accordion and she'll play it on the street for money in alternation with her fiddle.
um that's all I can think of right now.
Any takes? People to chill with. Party, drink, get in trouble with, etc? Oh maybe some roommates? She wants to move to Manhattan but can't afford it atm. She doesn't care about the gender of her roommates.

allegra comes off as way more mature than she actually is--you have to fake it in her profession. she's actually quite excitable, sarcastic, fun loving, and will readily let people convince her to choose fun over common sense most of the time (as long as she pretends to put up a fight, it's okay). she loves the zoo, cocktails at noon, and musicals and has minor ocd when it comes to keeping things neat and in order.
i would luv luv connections for her. family and friends to take part in her wedding. a bff to throw her a bachelor party. her roommates from before she moved in with her wifey two months ago. patients. ex-girlfriends. men her mother has tried in vain to set her up with. the guy/woman who always cuts her in line at the coffee shop (she hates you sir or madam!). anything!

Meet Duke. He's former ~star~ rugby player for UC Berkeley turned layout editor for "O" magazine. He's a gentle giant when it comes right down to it. He's quiet, extremely shy, and terrified of beautiful women. It takes a lot to get under Duke's skin so if people are willing to work past his shyness he's super easy to get along with. Just don't fuck with his baby sister, y'all.

hey there glorious possible connections. This boy right here is Shaun O'Rourke, little brother to hoberon. He is twenty-four, a bit...well actually just a slacker. He drives a taxi cab among other odd jobs, from bartending, working at a record/bookstore, or anything else he could think of. If anyone is looking for co-workers let me know, Shaun will literally do anything for some cash. He is going to live in Brooklyn with his sister, not sure where at the moment was thinking if anyone wouldn't mind a few odd neighbors? possible room mates?
Shaun is a musician, I think everyone in his family is one at some point, he plays the guitar any kind and at the moment only plays on the streets of New York or in the subways. I picture him being apart of a mariachi band on the subway just for kicks. He likes alcohol a whole lot, they have a complicated but faithful relationship, as well as occasionally toying with other drugs. He isn't an addict but is very open minded to try out different and new things.
It would be great if there could be a girl to torment this boy, so he could write emo songs about her. Bromances would be loved as well, I see him having a serious bromance since I've been watching too much scrubs this past week it makes me yearn to play one that is ridiculous and fabulous as well.

hello folks, I would like to bring in Pippa here. Her legal name is Philippine Leah Mint, but everyone calls her Pippa and she likes it so much better than Philippine. She grew up in Greenpoint Brooklyn and still lives in the neighborhood with her eight year old daughter Hazel and their french bulldog Marie Antoinette who is roughly a year old now. She has a connection thanks to jolyd as his personal assistant, pretty much her job is babysitting a nearly thirty year old man. Oddly though Pippa loves her job, even during the less than pretty moments and is very good at her job.
She is a bit of a musician, been involved in the music scene in one form or another since she was thirteen. Pippa even fell in love with a musician which resulted in Hazel. The bands she played in didn't get a chance to grow out of their infancy but I believe she is still doing some projects with a few friends. Pippa can play the guitar and piano, plus her vocals are pretty decent as well. She is a decent songwriter, perhaps a bit more than decent but Pippa's modesty refuses to call her work anything better than simply decent.
Some other connections would be great too, I don't want her world to revolve around Jude even if he seems to be under that impression at times.

I apologize ahead of time since I'm typically horrible at these things, but my friends told me this place was really friendly and open. So here I am with Lowri. She is twenty-four and jolyd's complication. They have one of those relationships that never make an sense and it boiled into a drama filled epic poem sort of thing. For the most part Lowri is extremely stubborn and straight forward kind of gal. If she likes something or wants something, she typically just goes for it. She has a passion for music and dance since she was a stubborn little girl of five but life sort of got in her way to becoming a real ballerina.
She is rather content with owning a boutique in Williamsburg called "Wilde Rumpus" which buys and sells gently used items for kids (toys, clothes, other things). Her boutique also sells and promotes environment friendly and organic products. Lowri does a number of charity work with her sisters, especially her younger sister Lidoine who works for Tom's shoes. Unlike her younger sister Lowri is involved with many local charities, especially for homeless children. Her store is non-profit and Lowri often organizes events to raise money for other charity work. It keeps her busy and mostly her mind off of Jude. Plus she gets to help others.
Lowri is also loxes little sister, so there is a connection there but I really would like to have some more connections especially with players and characters I never interacted with before. As much as I adore my friends who suggested I should come here :). Anyway I'm open for anything, organic lines work great with me too but planning a head never hurts either. So lemme know if there is anything out there. Also if things work out, I'll like to bring in a male character. I sort of always like to play one guy and one girl, or simply just a fresh idea for a character would be great if anyone is looking for a line to fill.
I think that is about it. Oh I written some of her history, you'll find it in her journal. Its a rough draft and if needed can be tweaked.

Before I update this guy I thought I'd post here first and see if anyone wants a line with him or if he fits the bill for any lines that need filling! His name is Jack Ryder (PBed by the lovely Russell Brand) and he is a sex and relationship columnist for Cosmo (I may change the magazine he works for because I'm having second thoughts). He hails from the UK and moved to New York a handful of years ago and currently lives in the Tribeca area of Manhattan. He knows ~daisypaterson from a very short stint at GQ, and thus far that is his only connection. Personality wise he is a very open person when it comes to just about anything, a must considering his column is generally geared toward everything sex related from the fluffy stuff to the more interesting seedy/dark topics. He's rough around the edges, swears a lot and drinks and smokes, and loves to try new things (especially because it usually gives him ideas and material for his column). I'm terrible at these but those are his basics. He could use friends, exes (never really serious), absolutely anything.

Ahaha, but seriously. I tapered off here because shit got serious elsewhere, but I'm back and I hear my boy here has some new minions which... you know, is sort of awesome.
This is Angelo Blake, founder and President of Mannahatta's own ZimZala. Which I never really expected to get employees so how embarrassed am I for going inactive?
Anyway! So your folks might not know Angelo right away because it's not like he does his own hiring (/hairflip), but he's a super easy-going guy. He just likes to surf, occasionally smoke pot, and hit on babes in other countries when he's not working.
He's a really nice guy, and if you don't know he's one foremost minds in information technology it's easy to assume he's dumb because he speaks really slowly and isn't very outgoing. In reality he's actually just a simple, relaxed and groovy individual. He values good friends, hot women, and clean socks.
So any and all lines would be great. Obviously they don't have to be included in the ZimZala staff to interact with him. Hit me with your best shot, guys.

Hello! Yeah this is kinda of an impossible hour but I tend to keep odd hours. This is Loxley Wilde hoberon's life partner, they are not married but have been together than most married people and have a few kids together. She is a native of New York, her family is some what known in high society. Her father is an Architect and her mother is a former child actress turned Indie actress with a whole bunch of drama involved. Loxley likes to avoid her mother's drama at all possible costs. She is twenty-five, going to school part-time at NYU with the hopes of being a photographer, her dream is to someday be the editor and owner of her own magazine...some day.
She is involved with a few music projects, nothing note worthy. Loxley sings and likes to play the piano plus living around musicians for the past ten years sort of has rubbed off her. For the most part she is a stay at home mom, who freelances photographer occasionally but not often. Mostly she works at the Bar she sort of co-owns with Holden. Other than that, I would love some lines. Other moms would be awesome or parents in general. She is pretty down to earth, slightly socially awkward. In high school she was the book worm and graduated school early at the age of fifteen. That is all I can think up right now, but yeah I really hope this place is the home for her.

Hello, I really want to bring in this girl and naturally came here in need of some connections. This is Ophelia, her full name is Mary Ophelia Elizabeth Moon. She is a native of this great city, grew up near South Street Seaport for the majority of her life. Although currently she lives in Brooklyn because the rent is more friendly to her pockets. Her mother Junko Mori was born in this city to a pair of Japanese immigrants who owned their own Dry cleaning business. Junko grew up to be a very well known and highly sought after fashion designer and ended up marrying her best friend's older brother Marmaduke Henry Grayson Moon, a science fiction author known more commonly under his pen name Duke Henry Grayson. Duke came from the classic American mutt family with so many different backgrounds that his family stopped caring.
Ophelia is the oldest in her family, she has two younger sisters and two younger brothers. She is another musician, surprise surprise they breed like rabbits here. Currently her music projects is limited, she likes the bass mostly although she can play the Cello amazingly well. Ophelia likes back-up vocals too. At the moment she does a number of oddjobs, mostly bartending.
The lines I would like for her, would be a baby daddy? She has a four year old daughter, other lines would be awesome. Possible friends, old classmates who she is rather uncomfortable to be around. Ophelia skipped the college root. I'll be willing to fill any other lines as well too.

After a stint working as a flight attendant for British Airways, she put her degree from Swansea to use and currently writes a travel article for GQ, both print and online. Jude here is a thirty year old modern artist/musician. His real name is Jolyon Dean, I have yet to give him a surname just encase if anyone could use a sibling line or a cousin line. In my head at the moment Jude was raised on the road, I picture his parents as traveling gypsies of sorts. Outcasts of their family and took to the road like a pair of hippies. Had some kids due to unprotected sex, Jude is the main result and perhaps a pair of sisters.
At the moment Jude is a rather successful artist, whose work tends to sell for a large sum which keeps him alive. He is horrible at managing most aspects of his life, I picture him having an agent who acts more like a mother or parental figure. Keeps tracks of all his bills, bails him out of trouble, makes sure there is food in his apartment and keeps track of his schedule. Reminds him constantly the current date and events sort of thing. Jude is for the most part in his own little word. He is a seasoned alcoholic but can manage to pretend to be a decent member of society. He has a complicated relationship with his sort of wife. They are not sure the rush marriage while both of them were smashed out of their minds were legal. They are on again and off again. Have some kids due to unsafe practices, Jude is extremely irresponsible when it comes to that sort of thing.
Anyway I'll love some lines for him, if anyone is interested in being his agent or personal assistant would be great. I think the line would be humorous, Jude is actually a lot of fun. People to party with or involved in the art community, maybe some neighbors or people who think he is the local hobo. Of course I'm open to ideas as well :)
