Can't draw comics. Doing this instead. 24hrs of painting - screencaps every hour. Will be working on my Redemptora and Aithne painting. Mostly because omg I need to finish this fucking painting. ( WATCH THIS SPACE )

SUCCESS! A pose has officially been decided upon. And if you had any idea how indecisive I've been, jumping between ten different poses every half minute, then you would realise what a triumph this is.

Going to sculpt these boys for real this time. In order to prevent myself shamefully dropping it again, there will be stakes this time! My lovely book The Illusion of Life, is to be given to Rave if I do not have her boys complete by the 4th of July. That gives me three weeks which is plenty of time.

Um, I'm going to postpone Xolonaich a little. :\ I didn't get very far, a Xolotl skeleton and a few sketches. Sorry to disappoint... I just... I have no excuse other than at times I totally suck. I won't take long to get back into it...

Mine is all decided :D
I have been wanting to paint a portrait series for AGES now so this will be my new personal challenge up between now and August 17th. Details are as followed:
Portrait Challenge
Paint one character portrait per week. Painting must be complete and uploaded every Sunday. Each portrait is to include:
- three different angle/emotions/character forms
- a fully painted background of some description (simple texture is allowed)
- a small quote/song lyrics etc.
This means I might get about...a quarter of the cast of Fade done or at least the main characters of Fade and Bookstore XD.

Okay, guys, so I think my PERSONAL challenge until... probably mid-August, actually, is to do one of these every week, to force me to get used to drawing my folks in a consistent fashion.
So I'm expected to have one up by the end of every weekend between now and August 17.
Which means I should churn through, like, a third of my characters, at least. >_>;;; Yeah.
Anyway, that's my challenge! Wish me luck! Punch me if I place this above writing, though. XD

Ugh. A big fat nothing for both of these days. I blame work for making me EXHAUSTED by the time I get home. Will to draw is there, energy to do it not so much. Determined to at least get everything sketched if not coloured. DETERMINED.
And since I like lists as well:

I am failing so utterly at this. And you know what, instead of drawing Damn for the challenge, I drew and shaded Damn for warm up, and that is it. What? I ask you. What? I need to get over this dumb paralyzing fear. It is stupid and not helping matters.

And it is a further nothing on my scoreboard, ladies and... ladies! Until I get the tablet back, I'm doing sketches and lineart only! This May Take Some Time. I will endeavour to provide you with a palette, though.
Because I like lists almost as much as I like Chinese:

Full body frontal sketch completed, inked and scanned. Still can't decide if I want to get home from work today and start colouring or draw everything first - all dependant on how much I get sketched out at work before I have to go pick Karen up.

So, I... may have done nothing today. >_> I had good intentions, but my tablet is fucked, and I got distracted writing fic. On the bright side, the fic might have distracted you all from beating on me. :D? ...D:
I might be able to fit in some sketches tomorrow during lunch. More likely I'll have to do most of the week's work tomorrow night, because I'm going out on Wednesday and possibly Friday... -_- Tell me again why I know people?

Well, I felt stupid after forgetting how to draw Akira's damn hair and kind chucked it in after that. Managed to get one full body roughly sketched and the start of face and hair detailing. I imagine this is going to take a lot longer than I would like...especially since most of this arvo was a right off since had a friend visit.
Tomorrow is another day!
