WHAT: Tuxedo Kamen's awakening
WHEN: September 13, around 8:00 pm.
WHERE: Radio City Music Hall
RATING: TBD

It was evident that these past few days (weeks, even) were beginning to take a toll on The Darkness, and she found that she was forced to tap into her spare energy collection--the very same energy that she had been saving up in order to take the universe by storm. And already, she could tell that her supply was dwindling. Whether she wanted to face it or not, she was growing weaker. These girls were making her weaker. And things had been going so good, too! Just the other week, she had transformed two humans into youma and collected more energy than ever! Not only that, but she left more people dead in her wake than ever before! Sure, another Sailor Senshi was awakened, but in the end, The Darkness felt confident that she had been the victor this time around...after all, just look at the destruction that she caused in the end. If that wasn't a victory, then she didn't know what was. But just when she was starting to feel that things were looking up, the absolute worst possible thing that could have possibly happened DID happen...the awakening of the one, the only Sailor Moon...leader of the sailor senshi. Not only that, but her awakening had almost meant the death of The Darkness--and after such a close call, the villain wasn't exactly keen on planning out other attacks.

But giving up wasn't an option. Certainly the thought had crossed her mind more than a few times, but in the end, The Darkness refused to put an end to her mission. It was either this or death; and death was another option that she didn't particularly want to take at the moment. So really, the woman had no other choice; she was not going to be a failure and she was not going to die. Besides that, even if she wanted to leave, she wasn't sure if she had enough energy to do is successfully. And if she did, then what energy would that leave her in the end? Certainly no where enough to even conquer the smallest of stars. No, The Darkness would remain on Earth, doing her best to keep confident, while trying to forget that she was slowly but surely losing her energy and therefore her power, too. However, the trick was to make sure that the senshi didn't realize that she was going through such changes--if they caught on that she was weakening, they would surely have her beat. So, on top of worrying about becoming weaker and formulating a new plan of action, The Darkness was now going to have to start worrying about making sure that the sailor scouts didn't realize how seriously weak she was becoming. This...was not going to be easy.

In order to gain more energy, her attacks were going to have to start taking place in even bigger gatherings. After all, the more people, the more energy she could collect. Plus, more people meant that she could possibly try pulling the same stunt that she did at the football game: turning more humans into mindless monsters. If she covered more ground and turned more humans into monsters, the scouts (should they arrive) would have a rather hard time gaining control of the situation. If she could just stay one step ahead of them by turning another human into a youma every time they stopped one, then it would essentially be a never-ending cycle. And that was just the sort of thing that was going to help The Darkness get her strength back. It seemed as if fate was on her side, too, as already there was a rather large gathering (of celebrities no less) being planned: a memorial for all the poor, little humans lost in her attack on the football field. How touching!

Deciding to forgo the whole 'trying to blend in' act, as she had recently taken to doing, The Darkness instead decided to arrive a few hours early. Slipping in while the event coordinators were still setting up, The Darkness silently took her place in the black rafters and giant lighting units hung above the stage. Blending in flawlessly, all that was left for the woman to do was wait for the whole thing to begin...and, of course, manage to keep hidden.

The wait didn't seem too awfully long, however, as a few hours later a steady stream of people were flowing into the historical auditorium. It was easy to figure out which ones were earthling celebrities and which ones were just regular, everyday people. The celebrities were dressed in the finest clothes that money could buy, and as one might expect, seemed almost too beautiful and glamorous to be human. They constantly smiled (though she found this aspect rather fake) and waved and generally made her sicker than most normal humans seemed to do. Seated up front, the rest of the humans who apparently weren't as special were ushered into seats a few rows back. Her eyes hungrily watched the arrival of the humans, fighting every urge in her body to jump down and start attacking straight away. Instead, she clenched a metal rafter bar near her, keeping her balance, and silently watching her unsuspecting victims pour in.
