Narrative: The Police Arrive
WHO: The Police and Rafe
WHEN: A few of days after THIS, TODAY.
WHERE: School Grounds
OOC: Highly encouraged to have students comment on the fact police arrived at the school. If your character has history with the police, even better. ;D
The car rolled through the front gate of St. Margaret's. The white car had "CWPD" printed on the side with the typical decorations that identified it as one belonging to the Camden Wharf Police Department. No flashing lights or siren though. Just the sound of the tires rolling over the pavement until it came to the front of the school. The engine of the Crown Victoria quieted and then a pair of officers disembarked. The uniforms were dark blue, and a radio strapped to the chest of each. Both were a little on the older side with Marine-styled haircuts trimming down the gray speckled with brown and blond. A cobalt blue shield-shaped patch stuck on the left arm of each officer with the word "POLICE" stitched neatly by machine over a symbol. One stopped to look up at the school. His badge said R. Clark on it. His cool gray eyes taking a moment to admire the architecture before his partner, labeled F. Daniels, gave a short whistle to get his attention back on the task in hand. Students who were on the school property observed with interest as the two officers made their way inside. Once inside, more students saw them, a few teachers who paused to watch, but it was Mr. Farrowe who was closest and so he took charge. "How may I help you, officers?" he asked with perfect politeness. Daniels said, "We're from Camden PD. We need to speak with Mr. Cavanaugh about something he passed on to us." Rafe observed how one of them had a small paper bag in his hand. It didn't look like it weighed much, but he doubted the man was carrying around a pack lunch. "May I inquire as to what this is about?" Rafe asked. Daniels shared a look with Clark before he replied, "Just asking some questions. We'd prefer to speak with Mr. Cavanaugh about it. Privately." "Of course, please, follow me," Rafe said and started off. The two officers walked, with both glancing in the direction of the students looking at them. Occasionally they caught the eye of a student, but there was no smile to accompany it. They were here on business. They arrived at the front door of the Headmistress's office that Jack was when he wasn't teaching his own classes. Rafe knocked on the door, and when given permission to enter, he did. "Officer Clark and Officer Daniels wish to speak with you, Jack," Rafe said. |
