Hey y'all! I'm Crystal and I'm new here! I bring you Dawn Summers from the Buffyverse, and she's 17, pulled from late August after season 7 of BtVS...and I'm pretty much ignoring s8. She's open for plot!

Hey everyone! Abby here. Just dropping a note because I need to take a semi hiatus. Starting tomorrow night I'll be on the way to Virginia... well... technically I'll be in Queens THEN on my way to Virginia for Nekocon, where I'm giving a panel on the cross cultural pingpong game that Japan and America. This hiatus - with the possible access - lasts until Monday night.

I'm not sure, but I may have some access. We're staying at Embassy Suites so I may have the downstairs computers that I can use, but given that I'm not certain how sure they are, I'm posting this. So I'll definately be calling people and there will be LOTS of pictures. Not as cool as DragonCon, not really that many non-anime celebs there, but I always have a ton of fun.

That being said, I have some new plot ideas that I'll be trying to post when I get back. Can't wait to talk to everyone when I get back! Luv you all!

I've been on a Forced Unexpected Hiatus!Our modem died middle of the day last Thursday. Here, you have to buy the modem through the cable company (or phone company) but they send it to you through the mail. It came in today and we got it working tonight.


I'll start catching up tomorrow.

Okay this is an odd notice - odder than any of my others, but while I'll be on at work all week, when I get home I may not be on before 11 PM. The reason? Because we're moving the time has come that I need to clean out my closets... and that is a very daunting task by itself. We're having the apartment cleaned so everythingt that isn't basically nailed down has to be stored elsewhere. So I'll be around. You can't keep me away, but I may be quiet. Thanks for understnading.

This is NOT a hiatus notice, I have a bit of character development half written and ready to go, but until I finish this project I have to post things up just before bed. Sunday our house guest leaves so my stress is cut more than in half. My husband was forced to take all of his vacation days at one time – or at least part of it. He’s chosen to take it in September feeling this would be a great time to distress. We will be doing a great deal throughout September. Pretend I’m hiatus just in case but I don’t see any problems with my tagging. So if you are in a tag with me now and want it finished before I go there is plenty of time. As it gets closer in the week, my time will be shorter but I’m in town.

From 7-12: we have an overnight trip, then a night at home then three days camping. Those three days should be the most we're away, but he just surprised me with this vintage camper, so I know there are a few weekends of fishing left before it gets to cold.

I’ll do my best to be as posty as I can be. I’ll be more active after the 12. Remember I’ll me in town, but will be fishing and stuff so if you don’t hear from for a day (after the 12) I should be on the next.

This affects Faith, Katherine, Elena, Sookie, Kate [Selene if that happens]

It should really cause a problem but better to be safe than sorry.

Hi all! Some of you know me, some of you don't. Either way I'm Alex (AIM- moonsdreaming/Email - idreamofthemoon@gmail.com) with Lucius Malfoy and Minerva McGonagall. I hear you saying 'but wasn't they/I already here' well yes... but I failed. So! They were pulled from the town for awhile and now am returning- Lucius left not long after making sure Amelia was alright after her attack as he wanted to deal with something. Minerva...well she wasn't active so yes, she's available to plot now too.

I just wanted to keep everyone in the loop that I won't be online very much until July 6th. My internet went out around 3:30 this afternoon, and Comcast can't send a tech out until Tuesday morning and hopefully it'll be fixed then. So until it's fixed, posts and tags will be done while I'm at work (I work Sunday-Monday-Tuesday-Wednesday nights this week). I'm currently in a room at work that my fellow night auditor gave me, and I'll try to get some tags that I owe done now.

It's Chrissy again. I've been meaning to do this for a bit, but forgot and well, stuff.

This here's Isabella (Bella) Swan from the Twilight series. She's taken pre-Breaking Dawn, so she's not married to Edward yet, but there's plenty of wedding bells ringing. She's a freshman bio-chemistry major at the collage.

I also have Emmett Cullen (again, from Twilight), taken from the same point in canon as Bella. He's a junior military sciences major at the college, married to Rosalie, and is awesome.

I didn't mean to drop off the map. A friend of mine, I don't know her that well, it's fairly early in our friendship; she lives about an hour away - at the ski resort. Well she had to have surgery Thursday, and part of the surgery was that she stay in town, in case she had to go to emergency the night of her surgery. I mean it makes sense in away. There isn't a hospital at the ski resort.

She was suppose to stay Thursday night. She's had a rough time, and is still here. I'll catch up be back online this week, just not sure what is going on. If I'm in a thread with you, just write around me until I can get back.

I apologize if this put anyone out - I would have said something on Thursday if I'd known this was going to happen.

Just wanted to update everyone, I am having to use the library computers because mom kicked me out of her house early...anyway just wanted to let everyone know they are predicting that my laptop will take 2 to 4 weeks to be repaired..having said that a very dear friend is gonna help me get a secondary one for the time being, something simplistic that I can at least do stuff on while I wait for the real one to come back.

Having said that, its going to take at least till monday for that to happen so don't look for me to return before then. The original title was moderator gifts and thoughts. If I change the title then the body doesn't make sense. Changing it to a vanilla topic should help any confusion. My intent was something for the modds and then own to thoughts in general

I've modded my share of communities, it's never an easy job to be a moderator. From experience I know that moderators always look at the speed of the community and it's not what they want, they blame themselves.


All communities have a speed cycle in terms of the flow - it's like the ebb and tide - neither are predictable.


I think there is something go around cause it seems to be a bad time for everyone. The worst for me personally. But if you look at how many characters you have, if you could post one a week, it will make them come back and be all happy faced.

I'm going to do two kinds of posts one that are open and others -Mother's Day Memories- Which would be open for comments, as if My character let you see the feelings. So hopefully that will help get some activity and get people threading.

I call it a solo thread, where you can either not let people comment at all or only what you say. So I'm doing some solo threads, as well.

That's the thought part of, the gift would be keeping up posting so their attitudes are up, and keep all three of them in your thoughts and finally

On another note, in case you haven't heard one of the people we rp with in other communities lost her grandfather. Today was his funeral. Send her thoughts via email or your IM. You may not know what to say, that doesn't matter, I find people need support and that's all they really want. Virtual hugs, etc. are awesome, too.

hi everyone, i have hijacked my moms laptop while she is out to say that i am going on hiatus. as many of you know i had surgery a week ago, what a lot of you don't know is i had two surgeries as one of them was to save my life after i started to bleed internally. anyway, while i was recovering my laptop decided it was an opertune time to take a nose dive and not work and when i took it to be repaired today i collapsed in best buy and ambulance had to be called...so, yes, i am aware i did too much, anyway I don't know when i will get my laptop back and i don't know when i can return home to my own home not my moms. either way I don't have continued access to the internet only what i can hijack when my mom is not around.

I will be back soon, I promise.

 Here is a link to the wiki. It should explain a lot of the plot, characters, setting, etc... but if you have any questions, please let us know! You may notice I have not listed Patty, but that is because Sally replaced her in the newer version!

Auditions are currently open to any students.

This should be a lot of fun!  I'm going to go over the main characters (but you can always check the wiki for more info!) Please reply with the each character you wish to audition with and what part they are auditioning for along with a song of their choice. (Plus their fandom if you wish, but it's not necessary) Characters may audition for more than one part. Please reply by 11:59 Central Time on May 1st! We will let you know the results a.s.a.p after that.

We will try to choose as fairly as possible! Since there obviously aren't a lot of parts, we will need plenty of help with costumes, sets, lights, etc... so there is plenty of plot to go around! If you would like your character to help, tell us in the comments and we'll try to accommodate you!

Thing #1: Because I can't say no and the muse demanded me to do it, I have a new character to introduce y'all to.

This here's the teenage version of Sam Winchester from the Supernatural episode After School Special. He's fourteen, freshman in high school, and will be living with Emorie and Faith (cause someone - not naming names [*cough*you know who you are*cough*] won't bring in teenage!Dean from the same time period). So uhm...That's about it with his backstory.



Thing #2 (posted with permission from Marissa): I've been tossing around the idea of a multi-fandom game that takes place in Disney World ever since last September. Well, during the past few days, I've been re-coding everything to get it ready for it's official opening on May 1st. The game is called twisted_kingdom. There's twelve characters (seven from me and five from Liz) so far, and I'd like to extend an invitation to y'all to join the game. If I've played with you extensively throughout games, you don't have to do a writing sample but do have to complete the rest of the application, no matter how well I know the character. So with that being said, I hope to see some of you around that game!

Her dad had someone call his cell phone - for arguments sake we'll say it was AT&T.

Supposedly, they were checking the service. I always check these things out and usually just forward to people I email on a regular bases.

Evidently this is a huge scam, as I got one from another friend, and it happened to them today.

This maybe inappropriate to put this here, but I'd rather you be mad at me than get screwed over.

They say they are checking your cell service. You'll be asked to type in # 9 0 in some order. If you do that, they have access to your account and can charge long distance calls to your number.

This is an old scam that someone is using again. You may know this info, if so I've totally wasted your time, and if not between all of us maybe we can keep it from happening to others.

I meant to get this up earlier, but it's been a hard night last night.

Most of you probably know that she's having surgery today. My luck she's already under the knife. And I thinks everyone knows she's staying with her mom.

I'm certainly not her best friend, but have been through a lot with her. I think it's important that we support each by expressing our good wishes.


We all know Marissa and have been showing support in many ways.

So I'm going to ask a few things of you.

1. We are a community, and we determine the type of community we want to be. So if I ask you to leave her your well wishes on a speedy recovery, you'll all do it.

2. Same but different subject: I've asked about support for other people, and have been terribly disappointed. Several months ago, a previous player lost her home. She's great now, but then she was terrified of living in her car. I hope people contacted her and wished her well. But not one person left a wish - at least the last time I checked it.

I would love it if everyone got along, but that doesn't always happen. But when people are in crises, you gotta grow a pair, and support that person. If you like to see people in pain - hey I don't want to know you.

I've kept that in for a long time, but now that I'm getting to know people, you should know me well enough to know that it's all in love.

If someone will update about Marissa in a post tomorrow, and let her know we have a prayer list, good vibes, or what ever you call this.

People can never have enough good trustworthy friends, or have enough good wishes when they are in crises.

Hello all, I just wanted to take a moment and fill everyone in on what's going on. First and foremost for the newbies here, I am Marissa, I play far too many people and I should seriously consider RP anonymous, but apart from that I am a kick ass person...(see there, I'm even modest as hell). Anyway, back to the point here, as some know and others don't I am going to be spotty at best for the next several days, maybe a week.

Since Emma is on hiatus, I'm not posting Kate beyond the thread she and Jack are in - or we may re-post it, depends. I don't want to put any pressure on Emma so she does well on her exams.

Kate is still around, just feel it's best not to get too far ahead in her reality. You'll see the rest of my peeps up soon.

I know as players when you get plot going sometimes we tend to write with the same people over and over, I know Abby and I have gotten bad with that - and I'll have to admit it will probably continue that the two do a great deal of things together.

I can't speak for any other player, but we spend so much time plotting the littlest things - not as much as I know Abby and Chrisy do - yes I've found people who are worse than I am when it comes to plot.

So I hope you'll respond to my peeps and lets rp! There is so much fun in a good scene, storyline, etc. and I know I'm missing some great threads cause we aren't rping together.

I owe tags, and I apologize. I woke up sick Monday morning - unable to walk or keep anything down.

It's a stupid inner problem that's had be throwing up for two and a half days. If I move, I get sick, if I stay still I'm fine. At least the inner ear is what the hospital Doc said - spent 12 hours in emergency - four just waiting. This is nothing serious - just bothersome.

It's so hard to keep your head still when you're tagging.

Sorry if this doesn't make sense - just trying to get it up fast. My trip is canceled, so I'll be around to tag and stuff, as long as I can keep from getting sick.

Plot Arc for Characters - Specifically Faith

I'm not sure if I pull it off or not, but I like all my muses to have well-rounded characterizations. Which from time-to-time cause much angst and hurt. I don't like playing one layered characters.

Faith and Scott have broken up. But don't fear, they will get back together. Details are unimportant.

She will be overly flirty, if you want to take it beyond a flirtation, then you'd have to let me know. I think for her part of the arc at least having some lip action would really help.

Just reply here and we can come up with some ideas.

You'll see them in angst for awhile with everything we have planned.

But for now I need some naughty boy volunteers.

So just tag Faith into a thread. She'll respond to how you write as to how flirtatious she gets.

First, a bit of background. Toshiro is a Soul Reaper, passing here as a normal human. If you think your character has a strong connection to the spiritual world, however, feel free to have them run into Toshiro in his spirit form. He's stuck here, though he now has Rangiku Matsumoto (a fellow Soul Reaper and his lieutenant) here with him.
