Summary: Greg doesn’t celebrate Thanksgiving.
“What do you mean you don’t like Thanksgiving?” Nick asked, looking at Greg, who sat on the couch, looking at Nick and nibbling on his bottom lip; something he always did while he was nervous.
“Well my uncle always told me that it wasn’t fair to celebrate us killing off another culture, ever since then I’ve never really enjoyed it all that much.” Greg said, moving his focus to tugging on his fingers.
Nick smiled sadly, padding out of the kitchen and sitting down beside Greg, “So, what do you want to do?”
“Well,” Greg began, lifting his head to look at Nick, “I had my own holiday for a while. I call it ‘Mishmash Day!’”
Nick looked at Greg, confusion clearly written on his face, “Mishmash Day?”
Greg smiled widely, “Yup, a little bit of everything!” We combine foods from all sorts of cultures, mix in all the holidays and come up with a little festive mishmash.”
Nick just chuckled and shook his head, “Alright, alright. What type of foods do you serve on Mishmash Day?”
Greg smiled, jumping up he tugged at Nick’s hand. “Come on, we have lots of stops to make. It’s going to be your first Mishmash Day, Nick.”
Nick tugged hard and pulled him back onto the couch, actually into his lap.
“Nope, it will be our first Mishmash Day,” Nick said kissing a happily smiling Greg.
