December 21st, 2012 was a day that changed history. A solar flare destroyed satellites, bathed the planet in radiation, and created mutants. It has been almost a year since the incident, and Professor Xavier and Erik Lensherr have come together to open The Xavier Haven for Gifted Individuals offers a safe place for the newly discovered race of mutants. Even within the walls of the Haven, trouble is brewing and the rift between Xavier and Magneto grows daily. This is truly a new world, and its future lies in your hands.

In a world where religion no longer holds the sway it once did, demons and angels seem an archaic concept, beings of a bygone era. And maybe they are, but that doesn't mean they don't exist. Demons let people forget. After all, it's easier to cause trouble when your victims don't fight back. They faded into the background - some of them successfully integrated into society. They took on human form. And now, demons are everywhere - they could be your next door neighbour, they could be your best friend, your boss, your doctor.
	Whoever they are, they're plotting your downfall. Because the old tales had it right - demons, whatever type of demon - want one end. They want to break things. They live for it, exist for it, will kill and die for it.
And, mostly, for centuries, they've wreaked their destruction and chaos from the shadows, but now the world is changing. Now the supernatural is restless, and they are rising. Spirits can be seen by all, lycanthropes have declared themselves to the world on national television.

Oh Marvelous: A Marvel RPG

"Did you ever have one of those lives?"
You inhabit a fantastical universe where anything can happen. Super powered beings exist, and living a sane life is no easy feat for anyone. In such an extraordinary world, an average day can be ruined by the strangest of threats; be it viral zombies, megalomaniacal criminals or assassination attempts. All just part of a normal day in a very abnormal world. You don’t even glance up at the shrill whine of sirens or the roar of a giant monster a few blocks over. In the sky above a caped character is flying towards the fray; a member of some super hero team or perhaps a lone vigilante. Maybe the monster is a mythical creature or an invading alien or a minion of the latest super villain. A van is hurled down the street followed by another angry howl but you go casually about your business- buy your newspaper, sip your latte- and mutter cynically to yourself,

"oh_marvelous."

Oh Marvelous is an age 18+, social, thread based, third person, AU Marvel RPG played in real time (quite a mouthful). The game is set in present day, in locations all over the world. Plot is primarily player driven with occasional inclusive plots that affect the entire game. This game does not follow any set timeline or particular Marvel continuity. That means that pretty much anything goes.

The world just got a dose of the supernatural, and one that it's still reeling from. It's starting to have to deal with the fact that on Halloween, the veil between the spirit world and the living was pulled back--and that veil never got dropped back into place. World wide, opinions are being flung around, rights activits are popping up, and a shadow organization is starting to get their fingers in as many pies as possible.

Which includes 'educational' field trips to haunted locations, to try and educate america's teenagers on the new elements in the world. One such field trip is scheduled for Marquette Senior High School now.

Praelitis is starting a new plot arc soon, and we're looking for teenagers to join in the fun! Now's the time to join up with them, there's still a little time before it launches so people can get established! We also have three adoptable teenagers that anyone can take over with pre-existing contacts in game, all that's required is a writing sample! Don't like any details on the adoptees? Edit them!

The year is 2053; eight years have passed since the opening of the Project Power Ranger Academy and the world seems to be on it's way toward recovery. However, with every bit of light, there is an equal amount of darkness. Evil exists and will forever remain a part of the human race, and even with the millions of grateful human beings, peace is not a constant. Riots are becoming more and more common and are particularly serious in the Southern US, violent and involving the lives of thousands. Politicians are divided, some fighting for another ban to be placed on the Rangers, accusing them of trying to control the world, of dominating, of being too powerful and unnecessary. On a much more frightening level, the existence of hostile aliens and other creatures have returned to being in the public eye. The rise of Exus and Velloh have done nothing to soothe the angry politicians and citizens, rather adding fuel to the fire. The sibling aliens have taken up residence in the Moon Palace, abandoned ages ago by the villains of the past. Not much is known of these aliens aside from the very simple fact: they are not here to make peace.

{ This is not your child's Power Rangers. While the basics were drawn from the original television show, Back To Action! is what the show would have been if it had been produced for an adult audience. Within, you will find intense violence, heavy political plots and even - yes, of course - sexual content. This game is OC only with emphasis placed on creativity and player control over their plots. Ideas and world-expansions are not only welcomed but encouraged. }

Some sort of description of your game - AU Marvelverse, set at Xavier's school. Students are split into teams for study and practice of their powers. Real time, with dedicated, active players.

I'd love to see: Beast, Storm, Mystique (comment for backstory), Spiderman, Human Torch, more "Avengers", Domino, Cannon Ball, Dazzler, or any others. :)

A place which could almost be described as sleepy - the ideal for a lot of people. Low crime rate, full of clean living and family values. It attracts the 'right' kind of people. What it also attracts is the supernatural. Angels, demons, lyncanthropes, humans with abilities - people looking to hide from a world that doesn't understand them. A world that can't understand them. And so it has been for hundreds of years - the quiet town with the secret that not even its residents knew about. But times are changing, the world turns: and supernatural forces are coming out of hiding now, all over the world. What once was hidden is being discovered and rediscovered. Myths are being exposed as truths. And Marquette isn't so sleepy any more. There's a war brewing - and it's time to choose sides. ***** Praelitis is a mature and well-established game that is looking for new players. Though the game has been running for over two years now, we have just introduced a new plot which introduces a whole new element to the game and that makes now a great time to join in! Welcome to The Method, School for the Creative Arts. You're looking at our brochure because you have an interest in creative outlets, or know someone who is. Whether you're nine or ninety-nine, there is something here for you. Thanks for taking a look. If you have any questions that aren't answered inside, feel free to give us a call. We're looking forward to hearing from you.

Our campus is large and boasts several opportunities for students of different areas of study to interact. Our bar and restaurant is spacious and student run. Every Tuesday and Thursday is mixed aged night, and the first and second Friday of each month is for the under-aged student body. There is a full menu available, as well as a fully stocked bar.

There is a gym as well as indoor and outdoor basketball courts, and an Olympic sized indoor pool.

For performances we have a 70 by 39 foot stage that looks out on audience seating of 1065. The domed ceiling and professionally designed walls allow for excellent acoustics.

Each student will be given a room assignment and a roommate of the same sex and close to the same age.

A semester is fifteen weeks long, with a week long break in October. During the summer we have six-week-long programs for those that wish to continue in a more intensified setting.

Avatar Aang not only brought balance and order to the world when he stopped the Phoenix King, but he and his former rival, Fire Lord Zuko, took great strides toward ensuring that the mistakes of past generations would never again occur. Zuko made the Fire Nation Capital City of Awatan Sathit the center of the world, encouraging large numbers of people from the three nations to settle within its walls. One hundred and fifty years have passed since Avatar Aang's epic battle with the Phoenix King, and all seems right with the world to most. The White Lotus Society has begun to notice stirrings in the world. Tensions between the three nations over the possession of the former Air Nomad territories are beginning to mount, a new style of bending is emerging, and the Avatar has not yet finished her training.

Unlike humanity, the earth is patient. After the death of the last Air Nomad, the earth began to grant powers to people, but humanity failed to notice. One hundred years have passed since the death of the last Airbender, and mankind is at last staring to recognize these changes. It starts with a ripple, a shadow where it does not belong, a light which glows more brightly than it should. Something small, something easily dismissed and forgotten. The creator is usually unaware they had any influence on the situation, no idea that they are a part of a new bending art, unaware that they are a child of the newest nation. This is the rise of the Chibenders.
