Our distraction's been acquired. Although, it took a bit of persuasion.

We were almost at Strasbourg to meet up with Echo. But, we've had to hide out from a large patrol of German Soldiers.

I have to say. I do NOT like guns.

There is remarkably little one really knows about what one can believe or withstand before the mind loses grip. That is what I've taken from the past few days, evidenced by how I haven't lost my marbles...further.

My name is Tabreth Cousland or Tabreth Cousland-Theirin (Can't remember if we ever really settled on the terms of hyphenation post-marriage and I'm not up on that part of the protocol) and I am to be the Squad Leader of an outfit called Foxtrot.

Just found out that somebody I knew from back home, somebody I really care about, has returned home, I guess.

And I'm not happy for him.

I mean let's be honest here he has way more to miss and way more people to miss him and it's not like he's had much chance to live for the last few months.

This just sucks. I really thought- God, I'm an idiot.

So uh, yeah, I'm going to dig into the texts we brought back and see if anything shakes loose.

So between being spied on, that creepy messenger trying to throw us off by sending us to Tannis instead of Akhetatan, the comms repeating "NO ORDER NO ORDER NO ORDER" over and over again and then the attack on home base I think it's safe to say that I personally cannot wait to get back to Equilibrium.

Just need to make sure everybody's stable enough for the trip back.

I hope you're all hearing this. Honestly, it's a bloody weird idea. But, I guess if the network works.

Shouting at people isn't going to make a great first impression because apparently capitalising letters is considered shouting. Certainly explains a few of those letters I got back in Kirkwall.

I am not entirely sure how this thing is supposed to work but apparently I type what I am thinking and it is then posted into some sort of network? Obviously not a spy or assassin network or it would not be quite as public but a network all the same.

I was told that there was some sort of web involved which admittedly put me immediately off the idea considering the only thing I associate with webs are spiders and no thank you very much, but then I was reassured that this web had nothing to do with those eight legged monstrosities.

Magicky friends! In the interest of performing my new above-board job as best I can, I'd reeeeeeeeeally love it if you all could explain how your magic works and where you draw your power from. I know someone said we'll probably go back to the exact place and time we left. Which, by the way, is mind-blowing. But, probably doesn't really make me feel any better. Although, the thought of the looks on my Uncles faces when they realise I'm missing. I'm kind of sad that I don't get to see that. I bet it's priceless.

So, the Hero, the Inquisitor and a King walk into a bar. It sounds like the beginning of a pretty impressive joke. Orrrr, a lot of fun.

I must say, I do not think I've ever seen magic like this. Your chariots and stores are impressive, and this device seems to massively decomplicate mass-communication. With it, the Blight probably would have been won in a week rather than a year.
