"Both hands on the wheel," he reminded as soon as he felt Donovan's hand meet his shoulder. He sighed at the rest of what was said, wishing that he had been properly warned prior to eating the questionable foods that had been offered over to him. Though he did realize that he probably should've taken Donovan's pickiness as some sort of signal.
Again, he wasn't a picky eater and that had been his downfall. Next time, and hopefully there wouldn't be a next time, he would just have to be more cautious about the foods made by the other radio people. "I guess you weren't kidding when you asked Louisa if she had killed it herself." That was apparently the number one culprit of his illness after all. It had tasted different, for sure, but it hadn't tasted bad otherwise. He tried to remember the taste to pinpoint what that meat might have been, but he stopped as the thought started making his stomach fold.
The second curve Donovan steered through as smoother than the first. Though it was still a little awkward, it was much better than the first they had passed. Donovan had never driven before, but it was obvious he was trying. He was learning. Maybe they would live after all?
Kyu-Sik let his eyes fall shut again. He offered Donovan a short quiet laugh that was muffled by the hand that still covered his mouth. "Oh, good, that's comforting. No warnings, please. It'll be a pleasant surprise after today."
