Kyu-Sik felt a bit more at ease when he felt the car finally starting to drift out of the parking space. For the bit of time he watched Donovan, the man still seemed confused, uncertain, and a bit uncomfortable. Kyu-Sik wasn't really sure why he didn't just adjust the seat or the mirrors, as he thought that was a standard thing you were supposed to do first. However, he wasn't feeling well enough to question it or move around to fix that as well. As long as they were on the move then he'd be fine.
Unfortunately, that slow movement came to an abrupt end. A literally abrupt end. Kyu-Sik jerked in his seat when Donovan hit the brake, clutching his hand over his mouth once more. It occurred to him that he hadn't yet put on his seatbelt. Once he settled himself down again, he quickly slipped it on. They managed to back out easily enough after that short mishap, but then they were back to going nowhere. Donovan was just looking down at the gear shift again as if confused.
"When's the last time you drove a car?" He asked, not yet going the full distance of asking Donovan whether or not he could drive at all. He couldn't imagine someone agreeing to get into the driver's seat of the car when it wasn't really the situation for learning.
