It was a bit steeper than she would have preferred although not out of her price range, but considering she'd be saving money on transportation with it located more in the center of town, it'd even out enough to justify the price. And stepping inside, the place looked well worth the rent and it wasn't just the location inflating the value. She took note of the interior architecture, the hard wood floors, and nothing stood out as falling apart. Maybe a bit of dusting.
The mess she could overlook, because the place didn't seem overly dirty and the only strange smells were ones she could recognize- chemical and scientific. A familiarity she didn't quite realize she missed the last few months she'd been out of work. And that piqued her curiosity, knowing better than to physically go through his piles of stuff but investigating a collection of artifacts she couldn't quite place the origin of with a raised eyebrow.
