"Does she?" But Mitch shook his head. "The blood came out of me, but not out of the sweater. I don't have the time to sit around and practice household charms!" He liked the sweater, too, but there were only so many things he knew to do. He had usually just taken good care of his clothes without having to worry much about stains or tears. So, no. Even though he had a wide knowledge of many charms, blood removal wasn't in his magical lexicon. He didn't want to have to make them a part of it either.
With that, the boy started walking again, just expecting her to follow. Eating a second cookie just to have something in his mouth so that he wouldn't have to say anything was probably a fairly pathetic move. However, it was the one he decided to take. That and the cookies were good. After quietly chewing for a minute he looked down at her out of the corner of his eye. "Is there anything else we really need to talk about?" There was no way to pretend it never happened, because it did. However, there was more to it than what was simply on the surface. He had a hunch she knew what he was feeling.
