"That's because you're very strange," he replied regarding her listening preferences. His tone was insulting, but he was very aware that he just put down his own conversation subjects. It was true enough that people usually didn't care for anything he had to say either. Which didn't really matter to him when he never felt like talking to them. He had stumbled a bit when she placed a hand inside his coat, but he was quick to catch himself. The only thing that surprised him was how cold her hands really were. "And you're freezing. Do you have blood running through your veins, or ice?"
Though Michel didn't give her much time to respond herself before sighing heavy and jamming his other hand into the actual coat pocket. "Thank France for the guillotine. It was all a fucking waste of time, wasn't it?"
