Strangely enough, Michel didn't seem upset by the fact that she had apparently decided to just leave him there. It was a natural reaction. Perhaps one of the few natural reactions he had seen from her. He calmly sat down the items he was carrying before following after her. After double checking to make sure that no one else was around or at least not looking, he grabbed her arm to pull her back into the room.
"It's too soon to be leaving. I've just come to paint." Although he was making that much clear again, he still doubted how true that was. He figured that she probably did the same, but it wasn't as if he was planning on letting her leave either way. He didn't travel there for nothing. "If I wanted to learn by myself, I wouldn't have bothered coming. Don't prove to me that showing up was a waste of time."
