Try to be home tonight because I got us all dinner to celebrate the robots being gone and definitely nothing they might have interrupted. Some of everything, since we'll never have a leftovers problem.

Do you ever have one of those days where like... the hair on the back of your neck is just constantly sticking up? Today is one of those days. Thank Jibbers Crabst I look fucking fabulous, because if I had to deal with that AND having a bad hair day, I would just give up.

Diego's room looks cleaned out... unless he got moved to another apartment, in which case he better reply to this letting us know he's still here.

I guess some of us aren't special enough for doors. But avoiding doors did give me the gift of burning myself making brownies, which I'm betting doesn't happen in that forest.

Also if anyone is left here and wants some, free brownies.

Hargreeves -- Don't be alarmed. I have entered the forest. It wasn't ... an intention, but like, I can't explain it. The door just wanted me to open it. But I took Fivey's advice. I have been carrying around this dumb boy scout bag of snacks and water and a baseball bat. So.



To anyone in the forest-- I've got a couple of extra water bottles and some granola bars. It's not like the best, but better than nothing.

why is it so loud

It's kind of amazing terrifying weird cool getting an actual birthday this year and knowing I'm going to age like a normal person. Or as normal as one gets when one is a Hargreeves.

If any of you happen to see Vanya, Alison, Ben, Fivey, Luther or Diego today, make sure you wish them a happy birthday.

...I don't actually know how old any of them are today because of timelines.

I think that Steve is on the right path with preparing for the worst while expecting the best. It is my hope to try and coordinate efforts

That being said, When things turned sour the last few times, we were sort of scrambling to support those people who were trapped in the maze, or people who were fighting the villains that leaked their way into our peaceful place.

I’m going to put together emergency bags for each apartment… maybe two per apartment for now? It’s going to ideally have self-filtering water bottles, assorted band aids and maybe neosporin (honestly, I’m deferring to Sam here, and this is in NO WAY meant to be a replacement for seeking medical help), granola bars or maybe other quick food sources.

Any suggestions about what can go in these bags is welcome, those are just my first thoughts.

In addition to the ones being given to each apartment, I was thinking that we should keep extras in various safe spots around town-- main thoughts being the SI building and the Youth Center. Is there any other resident controlled buildings that might be a good safe spot should that be an issue?

Best thing about New Mexico: There was delicious, and I mean genuinely top tier, Mexican food literally everywhere. Street vendors, little shops (my favorite was called The Garage. It was literally in someone's garage), food trucks, dudes pushing carts. If you can think of a way to sell food, there was someone there hustling.

Worst thing about New Mexico: It was New Mexico.
