No, I don't really want to talk about it.

Well, I don't think I've ever seen anything quite like this before. It's hard to argue against how pretty everything looks, and the air smells amazing too.

Before I forget, I know this time of year brings a lot of plant decoration, like red poinsettias. They're beautiful but please remember that they are mildly toxic to cats and dogs.

I also really love everyone's contributions to the rooftop garden. I know this time of year isn't quite as blooming as it is in the spring and summer, but there are plenty of lovely winter plants like Winter Jasmine that are just stunning to see against the snow.

For those of you that don't remember or are new, the sitting area is currently charmed to be a little warmer whenever the temperature drops. You'll still need to cover up, but it's perfect if you want to get the firepit started.

How do you feel about ice-skating?

The youth center is going to be running Halloween movie marathons from now through the weekend. Kid-friendly, of course and we have plenty of refreshments to enjoy with your Halloween movies. Stop by after school or anytime Saturday or Sunday if you want to check it out.

Tomorrow night’s feature is It's The Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown, in case anyone was curious.

The only question I need answered, and let's face it it's the most important question, is will Goodland be showing It's The Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown this weekend? If not, me and the Entity are gonna have words.

So that was fairly awful, let's not do that again.

I need a cheeseburger, a shower, and a good three days of sleep.

On the one hand, it would have been weird to see a wolf out running all night with this hat on... but on the other, it's really hard to sleep with this thing attached to my head. Is that just me?

It seems like we've sustained some pretty heavy losses lately. Losing people is never easy, no matter how long you've known them and no matter whether you know they're safe somewhere else or not. Even when they might not be gone forever, it's still hard not to miss them.

Now that Goodland is back to normal, I'm suggesting a low key get-together on the roof where we can share some stories about those who have left us or just be together. Refreshments will be provided for anyone who wants to come. We'll start this evening at sunset.

I thought getting back into the swing of things would be much more daunting, but I am surprised how easy it's been.

First of all, before this all changed, I was able to take a look at the rooftop garden! To everyone that has worked so hard to keep it going, you have my thanks! It was one of my first projects when I first arrived, and I'm so excited to see it last after I had left!

Second, I found a nice hiking trail and thought it might be fun to get a group together. If anyone is up for a little adventure mixed with some education. I was thinking tomorrow afternoon, we'll meet outside of the mess hall.

Again? Bloody heDare I ask how long I was gone this time? I have a feeling I won't like the answer.

It sounds like I missed some excitement. Goodland is probably better off for me not reliving the days when I was young and dumb.
