Who:George and Cisco What:Taking a moment together. When:The day Roxy showed up Warnings :...Things happen, relationship goes to another level. Nothing graphic though. Just cuddly fluff. Status:Complete
Cisco hadn’t said much at all during the day after George had shown up to kiss him. He’d of course returned it, but he’d needed to be away while Roxy showed up. He’d spent most of the day at his lab and some of it at George’s own workshop. He had an idea, one that wouldn’t leave his mind until it was put together. Sometimes when things like that happened, he became so fixated on that one thing that he practically had a bit of a manic episode about it. This time? It was making sure they had a space of their own. He’d made a small fort for them of blankets from his room, and went to fetch him.
He’d portaled right into George’s room late that evening, reached out for his hand and only said. “Come with me.” The portal staying open behind him, he didn’t really give him much option to turn it down though, so it was really more of a matter of getting him close enough to the portal to pull him in and the pair vanished to the workshop. Cisco pinned him to the wall near that pile of blankets and kissed him deeply. A heavy makeout session lead into shagging, a couple hours later, he had him wrapped in bare arms in said blankets and his arms around his middle. “Feel better?” --
The world was going sideways fast. It was almost like the second George started to get a good footing this place had to throw something at him to try and knock him over. Oh, he was thrilled he had a daughter here, but he was also terrified. He had been afraid Cisco would push him back, but this chaotic day had ended in such a way he was pretty positive they were fine. Things outside this little safe haven were still hectic. His daughter was back at the flat and he was going to have to figure out how to tell her about Cisco.
“Mmm,” he did actually feel better. “I was half afraid things were going to go to shite, babe. Guess you proved me wrong.” He flashed his boyfriend a grin. “Though I don’t think we should tell Freddie about the unspeakable acts we just committed in this workshop.” George snickered faintly before the hysterical laughing hit him. He shifted just enough to kiss Cisco in between the laughs. He managed to calm himself down after a moment.
“Thank you. This time your form of distracting was the right call.”
-- Cisco didn’t know what to think about everything yet, the only thing he knew of was that he wanted to be with George. He wanted him to know that too. He still had a million and a half worries he hadn’t voiced about George having a daughter, but George didn’t need them to take form just now. He needed some kind of rock, and Cisco was going to try his best to be that rock. He felt several ways about George having a daughter, but he didn’t want to think about the ways his brain was threatening to spiral in. His first thought had been to disappear, but that wasn’t what one did in a relationship. He was learning, okay?
Fingertips lazily brushed against George’s backside as he held him. He had so many thoughts, but no real words for those thoughts. This had been a welcome distraction to say the least. “Duno, could be fun.” He responded with a half smirk to comment about not telling Fred and returned those kisses, gently trailing his lips against his jaw for a minute after. “I have no idea about the rest of this, but I hope you know how I feel about you now.” He emphasized the you. His own anxiety had been off the charts, but now it was a dull ripple for the moment. He could just focus on George.
--
George grinned at Cisco and pressed a very communicative kiss against his lips. "I am clearly smitten with you," he murmured against his boyfriend's lips before shifting to rest his head on Cisco's shoulder. He sighed in a content way as he tried not to let his thoughts wander. "You know, I had no idea what to expect when you just bloody popped into my room like that. That was one bloody impressive way to get into my pants." His tone was amused on the last bit. They had talked about waiting, finding the right moment, and now they had just taken their relationship to the next level in the workshop of his store. George was pleased, despite being the one who had wanted the relationship to slow down.
Merlin, had they just complicated things? He snuggled closer to Cisco and blew a raspberry against the other's shoulder. "We have to go back at some point, babe. Just… we are in this together, yeah?" He knew this wasn't easy for either of them and at some point they'd need to actually talk about his daughter. Just maybe not right that second.
-- Cisco contently returned that kiss. Deepening it for a second before reluctantly releasing him to breath again. His arms only tightened around him. If it were possible to get closer he might have. “I should hope so, or this was a very poor way of telling me no.” He mused as he nudged him with his nose affectionately. He wouldn’t do what Dick had done and make empty promises to be there forever, but he’d be there as much as he could while he was there. “Not the delicate flower I expected either you know.” A soft tease as he nipped at his ear.
The very last thing he wanted to do was talk about Roxy after throughouly fucking her dad. He just wanted to spend time with him, away from all the chaos. “Think we pretty much solidified that..but I can’t promise not to be overwhelmed. I’m..a little.” He admitted as he drew a blanket further over them and refused to move for a bit longer. Part of him wondered if he should be asking things about her, but the other didn’t want to ruin the moment.
--
George flushed faintly at the remark about the delicate flower thing. Merlin, he was trying not to laugh at that. The need to snicker mellowed out as Cisco spoke more. He didn’t want to talk about Roxy or Fred or how crazy life was going to get. Thankfully they could just hide out for a little bit longer. They could talk about stuff another day. He let out a soft sigh and let his eyes close.
“I figure we can stay here a few more...minutes? Hours? We do need to go back at some point. And I get it, I’m… a little overwhelmed as well. This is a big change. We can just,” he made a faint face as he tried not to fall asleep on the workshop floor. “Talk tomorrow. Maybe. We will take this one day at a time.”
The real world outside of these walls was chaos, but they’d somehow manage.
--- Fingers lazily toyed with George’s skin in various places as they just enjoyed the moment and tried not to stew in panic over the chaos of the outside world. Neither of them were ready for it, so he’d try George’s trick, day by day. Try not to be overwhelmed with what came tomorrow and with his arms full of his boyfriend it was easier to do.
“Mm.” Came his lazy response as he held on and just listened to the sound of his breathing. He wanted to stay there forever, in a place where it was just them and nothing was complicated. “Tomorrow.” Cisco repeated as he too felt sleep threaten. “Before you came along I’d pretty much sworn off the whole dating thing.” Cisco never thought he’d be good enough to be in a relationship again. George had changed all that and his self esteem quite a bit without realizing it. “Glad you caught me by surprise.”
--
George grinned slowly and nodded, letting his cheek rub against Cisco's chest. "Tomorrow." He cracked his eyes open slightly so he could stare into the room through his lashes as he listened to his boyfriend talk. "Well, I can be pretty surprising."
He glanced up at Cisco and pressed a kiss to his jaw. "I… wasn't in a good place when I first arrived and I wasn't planning on some relationship. Then some bloke moved into my flat and here we are. What a mess, right?" When he had first met Cisco he hadn't thought anything would happen between them. He had developed a crush somewhere along the way and had managed to act on said crush. "I'm still not in a good place… but I'm better."
--
“My dating life has basically been a dumpster fire.” He tilted his head at the gentle touch of lips to his jawline. “And you make me happier than I’ve been in a long time.” His fingertips brushed along his neck and shoulder, just soaking in the intimate moment. He really didn’t want to go back to their chaotic world. “You’ve seemed better. Though I thought you were pretty wonderful all along. Even if we are kind of a hot mess.” He snickered as he drew him into a kiss. “Maybe we should put a bed in here.” As it parted, considering he had a feeling he’d be bringing him there more often. “Or like a magic one.” If they didn’t want Fred aware of the things they did, maybe something magic that would appear and disappear-if that was a thing that worked. He didn’t know.
“As long as we’re a mess together, I think we’ll be okay.” He pulled him up a bit closer and rested his head ontop of the other man’s. “Maybe we should go back before we fall asleep here?”
