| About: | This community is open to all solitary practicing Wiccans. I created it as a refuge for both those escaping LJ, and those who are tired of some of the nonsense that has been going on at LJ's solitarywiccan community as of late. :) Rules: 1. Please keep in mind that in this community we believe that Wicca is a fertility religion that honors BOTH a God AND a Goddess. While we're are open minded about the dedication vs. initiation thing in regards to considering oneself Wiccan, we still expect those calling themselves "Wiccan" to follow basic traditional practices. Wicca is NOT anything you want it to be nor is it whatever feels right. You don't see Christianity or Judaism advocating such things. Please don't expect Wiccans to tolerate it, either. 2. Wiccans can get mighty bored and hungry when we don't meet our daily quota of babies, so trolls and flamers best beware... unless you wish to have your arse become a chew toy. :) 3. Please don't bash others' traditions. If it is one that you've never heard of or sounds like something someone pulled out of their arse, you have permission to politely question it. 4. No spam. Period. That includes promos for other communities. If you feel it is something important enough for the members of this community to see you can request permission from me, first. Failure to heed this rule will result in the post being deleted and your heiney banned. 5. This community is for both learning and teaching. However, teaching does not mean you are free to post lessons (or links to them) here. Keep it to your own journal, or, better yet, create your own community for them. 6. Do not ask for spells!!! 7. Please respect those who read entries via their Friends' Lists and put large posts and images behind an lj cut. Also, no speshul text colors! Use the default settings and we can all read your posts. 8. Speaking of being able to read posts, l33tspeak, or whatever it's called, is not welcome here. If you cannot take the time to type proper English (or your best translation to it from your native tongue), we most likely will not take the time to read your post and respond to it. Okay now.
