RATING: Keep it under R, peeps. That sort of stuff is inappropriate for Narcissa's house.

The decorations finished going up around 3pm and Narcissa was pleased. Everything looked perfect, but from a Malfoy, one could not expect less. By 5, all the wards were in place and functioning, thanks to a combined effort of her husband and sister, and the Apparation and Disapparation points set. The manor was not decorated as a Muggle house might be, with spider webs and fog and Scary Things all over the place, but there was quite a bit of orange and black, and the halls had suits of armour that made noises when someone passed (some even moved from hall to hall at random times). It was all very Shakespearean (not that she knew who Shakespeare was, of course), with the beverages served from a frothing and foggy cauldron, bits of food charmed to resemble different potion ingredients, even some tables with crystal balls, tarot cards, and the makings for tea, all in case someone wanted to tell another's (or their own) fortune. With Demelza at the door, as she would be for the beginning of the evening, Narcissa finally set about to get herself ready.
