Previous Entry  Add to memories!  Tell a Friend!  Next Entry
Who: Angelina and Miriam
What: Therapy
Where: Undisclosed, heavily warded location in Scotland
When: Thursday, 7pm
Rating/Status: TBD/Incomplete

If Angelina were to be perfectly honest with herself, this was one of the scariest things she'd ever done. Talking about what she'd been through with Fred was one thing. He was safe. Talking about it to someone else, though... it scared her to death. But she knew she had to get it together. It wasn't just about her anymore. It wasn't even just about her and Fred. There were two other lives depending on her, and she had to get it together. She had to.

A few minutes before seven, she was in the room of the abandoned house that she'd cleaned up for the purposes. A few things had been transfigured into comfortable enough chairs, and it was clean and well-lit, which she figured was about all they needed. Now all there was left was to try and relax.

Miriam, who did not believe in coming early to therapy sessions, particularly the first one, arrived at seven o'clock on the nose, a feat made far easier by her ability to simply apparate there; she didn't know how muggles did it, it seemed completely impossible to her that a person could time out exactly when to leave in order to be at another place on time when it was not as simple as disappearing at exactly the time you had to be there and reappearing seconds later. Her unwillingness to be early did not stem from any desire to spend less time with Angelina or any of her other patients. She simply thought it was unfair - people came early for a reason, and if they needed extra time on their own to acquaint themselves with the space or with the idea of what they were about to do, then she wasn't about to take that away from them.

She appeared with a 'pop' just inside the door of the house, and was able to follow the light from the next room to find her way to Angelina. The door was open, but she knocked on the doorframe all the same to give the girl warning. "Hello dear," she said kindly, "How have you been?" She took particular delight in asking that question, more than usual, because Angelina's allusions yesterday had left her relatively optimistic about the answer.
