Wonderful story! I usually don't like AUs much, but I do like a well-written, in-character Snarry that's an M-preg with Harry as the father, so I gave this a shot - an a very happy fan I am! You wrote an entertaining story, but also won that brings up a lot of currently pertinent social questions.
Such a unique plot, yet so believable, in how those in power acted - the utter hypocracy of banning gay sex, yet creating gay Breeders who they use as slaves to provide their own future army, the twistedness of having the upper-eschelon of the leaders gang raping -via gay rape- to produce those pregnancies, yet having no family tie to their own children. Yes, such an utterly detached society they were creating, such a joy to see it torn down!
The sad bit is how, in some very real ways, it reflected the thoughts and behaviors of people in our own society only 20-30 years ago (when somehow they thought raping a lesbian would show her 'the way'?!?! or that if they sexually abused a gay man, somehow their own actions weren't also both rape and a twisted version of gay sex??), and how close to it the general value system sometimes still is, not only in relation to homosexuals, but just in regards to anyone who is 'different'.
Severus' act to save Harry and their son, with him as the actual killer of Voldemort - Great stuff! To tell the truth, I had always hoped that JKR would have both Snape and Harry join forces to kill Voldie.
I like that you did not get explicit in Harry's beating and that it was brief and relatively mild, but also realistic in that even that brief attack took all that magical healing could provide to have the baby be healthy. Also glad that even Lucius' torture was not explicit - yet am equally satisfied it was made clear that Lucius is getting what he deserves.
So sad for Draco (and his lover) - but I had to wonder that since Lucius was there in Polyjuice impersonating Draco, perhaps was not that Harry inadvertently gave them away, but that Lucius already had his son in custody and had killed Draco's lover before he ever went to trap Harry? Wish there could have been some relief there, but then, in war, there are sad, senseless losses, and I thought that was a good way of showing the effects on a major character, not just minor ones.
