Rating: PG
Word Count: 13,550 total
Warnings: Very, very gen. Evil Ginny alert (not sure if that
calls for an AU label or not).
Disclaimer Nothing you recognize is mine.
Prompt/Summary: How about a time travel romance, with young
Snape accidentally coming forward to the future, and Adult Harry having to
take charge of him until they sort out what made it all happen.
Optional saving-Snape-in-the-Shrieking-Shack and cutting-off-the-epilogue, at
the discretion of the writer.
Author's Note: I hope I managed to do your prompt justice,
Cluegirl. I'm afraid I wasn't able to include your kinks or even much (read:

nonetheless. I hope you are, too. Happy new year!

Am I first? Squeee!

That was lovely, I really enjoyed it, thank you! Noe we know why Voldemort was a nutter and Snape so nasty to Harry.

What a wonderful story! The time arcs were really well-woven. My heart went out to Severus, but even moreso to Tom Riddle. So tragic, yet so preordained.

Thank you for a lovely morning's reading. *hugs*

Wonderful tale! Sweet little Severus. And Harry determined to save him. I love time-travel and this was delightful. Most excellent, dear.

So I was confused at first because they were in the Shack talking about saving Severus but eight weeks before was clearly after the war. But I knew you'd explain it. *g*

Absolutely fantastic! I loved that even though Severus didn't know Harry's full name the green eyes helped give him away. And Hermione was wonderful stepping in to support Harry and provide a bit of a barrier from the Weasleys.

And evil Ginny isn't AU in my opinion. We don't see enough of her in cannon to prove otherwise. *g*

Wow, I liked this very much!!! Time-travel, child!Sev, Harry trying to save him, etc -- lots of good parts. The idea that the future wizards could have created Voldie by their botched return is chilling, and Ginny's obsession over Harry is just disturbing. Liked Hermione's characterization, esp. the idea that she would have left herself a note.

Just a note that the formatting of the fic (black type on dark grey background) makes it very difficult to read. If I hadn't been intrigued by the summary, I wouldn't have bothered to copy the fic into Word for reading, and would have simply hit the "back" button.

This is lovely! Severus's younger version broke my heart. Oh, and Tom Riddle, that was horrible -- and horribly ironic. Wonderfully original explanation for the doe Patronus. I also enjoyed Hermione's character as an Unspeakable who will bend the rules to 'speak' to Harry and save Snape.

Sorry if this review is disjointed: I just kept remembering the parts I loved all of a sudden.

Thanks for this fic!

Oh! Alisanne, I have to be honest -- I usually don't read gen fics (the lack of smut, you see) or fics with heinous!Ginny. But I couldn't possibly resist a fic that was not only a time travel fic, which I adore, but one where one of the boys must care for the other who is a child.

I'm so glad I didn't pass it by! I really, really enjoyed this! The Time-Turn rifts was a very clever idea, and little Severus really tugged at my heart. And, of course, I love that they got together at the end. Nicely done.

Wow. Shades of my all-time favorite Snarry "Nick in Time/Growing Pains" (in fact so similar I'm thinking it was deliberate) but with your own unique spin. I can't get enough of a young, shy, vulnerable Snape with a crush, so this was a pleasant surprise.

I loved how Hermione shrugged Harry off, "Don't worry, it's confusing, just trust me" as that's the same reaction I have to most time continuum issues.

Also loved the idea of creating evil Voldemort by mistake.

Very well done!

Wow! Truly amazing work; I love what you did with the time travel and how close Harry and Severus grew. I really like that made Ginny into a bitch (I don't like her at all, lol). The ending is very beautiful. Well done!!~Sophia

Well, I've finally got the chance to read this, and I am positively charmed! Young Severus is a wonderful influence on Harry, and the idea that it was the Unspeakables who made Tom Riddle into who he was is just chilling.

And, this story being what it was, I can easily see how shoehorning smut into it would have been a challenge, so don't worry on that account -- I love it anyhow!

Thanks for writing it, and thanks even more for posting it!

Absolutely amazing. I love the way the Ministry's interference with time caused Tom Riddle to become "changed" and the way Hermione had left herself a note in Hogwarts: A History about time turners.

Such thought and planning in this story and it really shows.

Oh I absolutely loved it. It was simply marvelous, dear. Young Severus was adorable and Harry as a father figure was so great to see. Crazy Ginny cracked me up, and Hermione as an Unspeakable makes a lot of sense.

I loved how the Ministry made Voldemort crazy (no surprise there) and how Severus had to return with all of his memories.

I hardly ever read genfic, especially this long, but since I read everything you write, I took a chance. And glad I did. It wasn't really gen, you know. There was some snarry slash there at the end, just no smut.

There are many things I liked about this fic, most all of them already pointed out in previous comments. But what I liked most was Snape's honesty with Harry there at the end. It spokes volumes about the effect Harry had on 10 year old Snape.

A truly great fic!

Brilliant! Time travel with young Snape in the present is such a cool idea, and you've really done it justice--bravo!

So lovely to see Snape getting a vacation from his home life, being fed, and cared for, and read to. *sniff*

Really great job. *memories*

I love time travel fic, and to find one where Severus was the one to change time made me squee with pure joy. I loved young Severus and how he trusted Harry, looking to him as a role model and for comfort.
