Ohhhh, loving Severus as a tutor! He's not even just the tutor now, I can tell- he's almost like a nanny at this point with the making him apologize- which is of course leading up to Harry and Severus' relationship, after which he'll sort of be like a father figure to them, won't he? *smile* I love the causal way Severus is interacting with him, and how he doesn't even get upset- just handles him calmly. He knows exactly how to interact with children, which I think is great- I love a Severus who is very much in control of himself and knows exactly what he's doing!
It suited him. *happy sigh* I love that phrase, and that Severus is noticing Harry. And again with the details- how Harry's hair is cut, and fashions/the political climate. Wonderful : )
There were toys and picture books and plates with dried food on them and even knitting yarn (knitting yarn?) in a basket sitting on the kitchen counter. Again, Potter did everything manually. Love the yarn!! Makes me wonder why it's there. *grin* And how Harry does everything by hand and Severus just waves his wand around- again with the characterization with the little details. Love that you've set them apart from each other like this. Excellent!
Oooh, also like it even better that it's a parenting technique on Harry's part as well as a habit from a muggle-raised childhood! Loving father!Harry. *happy sigh* And that Severus then clears the plates by hand to make room...... <3 He's going to be a great father figure. *grin*
Adore the breakfast scene- Severus finally getting a good meal, and his restraint, and that he gets more food anyway, and then when he watches Harry drinking the juice...and then that he can cover it up so quickly when Harry catches him staring. I think we must have known each other in a past life or something, for you to have hit everything I like on the head so very well. I've yet to read a single line I didn't want to comment on. Clearly I've restrained myself, but...*sigh* So in love with this fic.
[Who decided on the 4300 character limit, anyway? Think I might be approaching it again. *posts*]
