	What a happy ending! YAY. Great job for both Harry and Hermione, Severus coming out the woodwork to follow up on the rumor-I loved the way he just sort of waltzed into Harry's life and that Hermione knew right away what he was. Sweet! Great vampire!Snape. I hope he not only keeps the paler skin but the younger bod as well, lol. Harry and Severus both deserve it.

I'm impressed and grateful that while this story traces some of the same major elements as Tira Nog's classic "Nocturne" - Snape a vampire, the chance of an experimental cure, and Harry helping with it - you've gone in completely different directions. Indeed, Harry's character is so different (*love* love love his job!), and in keeping with that, so is his personality. For instance, he negotiated the "call me Harry, not Potter" issue so very deftly and clearly, he must have use this skill on the job a lot!

Hermione is terrific in this fic as well. Also a fun exploration of Legilimency and "vampiric shields." This plot point, while complicated (and has to be, to set up teh Snarry secks), is so very clearly explained - good job! I do have to wonder what Snape has been doing the last decade, and where... and I'd love to see him interact with Harry's work. I suspect he'd approve of protecting abused children. Especially given how many of those orphans must be Slytherins.

The story has little tension or angst, which creates a smooth and pleasant first-time & Romance (romance is undoubtedly following!), and keeps the vampire-cure plot central. The pleasure in this fic was very much for the reader - we always need more happy-fic, and this was a fun one. :D

	Feeling foolish for not spotting the obvious earlier, Harry murmured, “So the rumors are finally true – you’re a vampire.” LOL!! And OMGuh, neckbiting during sex! melts Very yummy, that. And Harry working with children was so sweet. After his years with the Dursleys, he sure has a lot of experience in what a home should not be like. (Reply to this)

I really liked both Hermione's and Harry's post-war careers of choice. Oh, and Kingsley as Harry's first lover is something I always love.

Funny thing, I've certainly seen vampire-Snape fics mentioned or linked, but this is the first time I've read one. I enjoyed it -- you created enough sense of the complications in curing the situation but explained it clearly enough (on a "Harry" level :D) that it segued nicely to the hot, hot sexing.

This was wonderful! This was a reasoned, quite substantial theory of the magical eradication of vampirism that led to some incredibly hawt sex!

The characterization was masterful. I am partial to jobs for Harry that are not auror, DADA teacher, or Quidditch star. The fact that Harry is working with abused children, I'm sure that Severus could probably relate, as well. I also really liked your Hermione, strong and super intelligent, but not obnoxiously so, and not a bossy Know-it-All.

Very well written!

	I love that Snape went first to Harry for help, and then Hermione through Harry. Also, that Harry had moved on from Snape's failed lessons and learned Legilimency on his own. Oh, and Snape as a vampire is always a wonderful thing. Thank you. (Reply to this)

Enjoyable reading! I liked your light, mostly angst-free approach to curing a vampire - with just the right amount of information about how to do it. (I guess I agree with Harry) The Occlumency shields and the massage were a particularly nice touch. Also, you made me believe that Severus and Harry were ready to try the ritual the day after they met. Very smooth.

One of my favourite bits:

“And what of the other part of the ritual? Are you just as willing to try that as well?” hissed Snape darkly.

“With your attitude, I’d be lying if I said I was eager, but needs must, I suppose.”

“Really…” drawled Snape. “So the Golden boy is willing to offer up his almost certainly virgin arse to his nasty old Potions professor. You do realize that is what Granger meant by joined in body, correct Potter? Since you’re entering my mind, the ritual will almost certainly call for me to enter your body.”

“If you’re trying to provoke me Snape, it won’t work. I’m not a teenager anymore, and my arse is certainly not virgin.”

And yay for Ron Granger! *g*
