This was a lovely fic and I enjoyed how things just slowly worked to create the bonds between the couples, and Harry's gradual realization that he does actually like Snape and vice-versa.

I don't normally read Draco/Hermione, but I could actually believe it in this instance. I also thought that Ron was perfectly in character; I could see him desperately wanting to cling to old traditions and Hermione being too modern to want anything to do with them. Lucius felt very real too, and I could easily see him willing himself to die because the world isn't going to turn out to be what it wanted to be.

Thanks. Glad you enjoyed the story. I had fun with it. I think that the only way for Snape and Harry to get together is to really get to know each other. Once they do, they are so alike.

As for Draco/Hermione. I have a whole other story to tell about them. *g*

wow, this was great - so many levels of post-war consequences (which of course I adore) PLUS hawt snarry action that was utterly believable, and a situation that felt real. nicely done.

Excellent fic. The build-up and all the details were perfect. I like the was the couples generally ended up finding someone, and especially that Ron and Blaise didn't because that makes it more true. Regarding Severus and Harry much love for the entire conversation about Lily and Petunia. Absolutely what I can see Severus saying (invited to her house but never going! *sniff*). Regarding the photo, Harry had every right to be more upset than he was but I think just letting Severus know he'd been thinking about it will have to suffice. Great job.

Oooh, I love it. I appreciate the changes in people and the things that stay the same. This was such an engaging read. I really couldn't stop!

Are there any thoughts on continuing? It doesn't quite feel finished. The Draco/Hermione plotline, for one, I would love to see more of, and it felt like Ron was at the brink of something there. What's going to happen to Lucius? Do Severus and Harry ever spill their respective guts on their relationship? I, for one, will definitely read anything else you do for this. :D

This was a very interesting take on the post-war situation and how things would play out if Severus had survived. I like the idea of him continuing as Headmaster, and what that would mean for Slytherins. The glimpses at pureblood culture were also interesting. The changes, both in society and personally, were amusing to watch. Severus' manipulating the whole thing was amusing. As was watching Harry figure it out.

Oooh, I liked it. I was a little wary after the summary, but I'm so glad I read! It was very sweet without being sappy. I think you did just the right amount of showing and telling and leaving bits to our imagination.

I loved this. The surprising changes from fanon - not to mention canon- were disconcerting and a delight. It's nice to have my fannish mind knocked sideways now and then into a new configuration - a very pleasing one!

I love your mix of hot sexual attraction, romance, and the realism of people painfully recognizing that their planned pairings simply aren't going to work (*cough*I suppose that goes for JKR's Epilogue too, heh). What's going to happen to Ron? Will stubbornly proud Lucius's willful death cause complications for Draco and Hermione? And will Severus ever fess up about who took the picture? Will he and Harry ever be open about their hopes and fears? And ... what happens when Harry graduates?

All awesome. You really opened up a lot of possibilities... that is, plot bunnies! I hope you might feel like following up on this story some time. As it is, though, it's a gem. I'll definitely be reading it again whenever I want me some "feel-good" Snarry happiness. *\o/*

Well done. It was interesting to see the aftermath of the war with Snape as the Headmaster. I also liked Oliver Wood stirring up sentiment against the Slytherins because it seemed like something that would happen after such a devastating war.

Thank you so much, dear Mystery Author! I finally had a chance to sit down and read this when I had the time to savor and enjoy it! Thank you for hitting so many of my Snarry buttons, and for taking the time to explore their relationship!

so much to love here: the House politics and the crafty Severus working behind the scenes, while at the same time in denial about his feelings; and the really interesting characterizations of supporting characters! I love the Draco/Hermione, and the haunted Lucius, and the flirty Blaise.

a great read!

An absorbing long fic. A complex look at the 8th year. Like the interaction of all the students.

I loved this! I love Harry and how convinced he is that he wouldn't ever want to marry Snape, and how he's certain he doesn't want to get married yet. I also adore Snape, and the way he handled Harry. It tickles me they both are thinking about ways to convince the other to make the marriage last, and yet neither one has told thew other how they really feel. Silly boys.

Yay courtship! I really liked reading this. If there is a sequel, that would make it even more perfect! Or, if that doesn't tickle your muse, perhaps an epilogue set a bit in the future? It doesn't have to be 18 years in the future. :) Thanks for the great read!

I really enjoyed this story and hope you'll write a sequel or an epilogue, showing what happened to them in a year's time. (I think I'm slow on the uptake today, but was it Severus who arranged the photo?)

I love the way the courtship (and the Snarry relationship) progresses from a not-quite-lie to a truth. It was great to watch them getting to know each other.

And the side pairing of Draco/Hermione worked very well.

Very nicely done.

What a lovely story! I very much enjoyed it. Especially liked your very sympathetic Molly. Also the Hermione/Draco, for which I have a soft spot as long as they aren't the main pairing, a la Romeo & Juliet. :-)

I have a feeling Severus might just have sent those photos himself... It's a suspicion I think Harry shares...

Thank you for the story.

My first guess was Neville taking the pictures, to eliminate the competition for Ginny's hand in marriage. :D I enjoyed the story a lot, and would like to read a sequel.
