he was too far away to disable the damned thing. Merlin's banished left bollock.
Goodness, Merlin did live an interesting life! *eyebrows up*
I'm finding the mental image of five-year-old Harry glued to Snape surprisingly adorable.
It's been almost a month and I know I wasn't *that bad* as a five year old.
Hee! Poor Harry. It's like a really, really bad version of "got drunk and did stupid things that I now really wish I hadn't done" -- looking back on a five-year-old's actions from a perspective of days rather than years would be awfully unnerving.
Ron went over and pulled Harry into a clumsy, one-armed hug. "It wasn't easy being five the first time around. I can't imagine doing it over and over again."
Aww! Yay, Ron! Doing it right for once!
Let's be honest. I'm an opinionated sod with more issues than The Quibbler. And that's not likely to change any time soon.
This is pretty much the best thing Harry has going for him: he's old enough and experienced enough to see himself clearly, and recognise his needs and wants.
Perhaps sanity was overrated.
Hee, definitely! I love them being mad together. :D
