Fic: One Wave Short of a Shipwreck
Title: One Wave Short of a Shipwreck
Author: [info]leela_cat
Giftee: [info]alisanne
Word Count: ~12,250
Rating: NC-17
Pairing: Harry/Severus
Warnings: EWE, Seduction through enticing alternatives (aka Dirty Talk)
Disclaimer: Don't own them. Don't make any money from them. I just let them have a bit more fun than JKR ever did.
Summary: Severus and Harry end up in the same hospital for very different reasons. Afterwards, Hermione plots, Harry seduces, and Severus thinks he may just be going slightly mad.
A/N: [info]alisanne, I managed to at least mention most of your kinks and requests, and get two of your optional prompts in as well. Hope you like it.
Many thanks to my amazing betas: F, M, and J.

Hee, I love the premise of this! You've definitely incorporated a lot of things that Ali likes. Harry as a kid is adorable, and it's good to see that even Snape couldn't resist his charm *g* Well done!

Thank you. I'm glad you liked it. And, honestly, who could resist child!Harry (well, maybe Ron, but that was another story. *grins*)

Wow, alisanne is so lucky. Child-Harry is one of my favorite things, properly-reaged-Snarry is another, and you pulled both off excellently. Thanks!

Mmm - fabulous fic! Loved getting Hermione's pov there in the middle; that's unusual in Snarry and it worked really well.

Thank you. Hermione wasn't supposed to have a pov in the middle, but she can be very pushy. *g*

Am so in love with your fic! 5year old Harry is just too cute, and I loved it, how Severus interacted with him. And the seduction scene is hot as hell:-)

I loved how everyone was in character but not over-exaggerated, your Hermione and Ron were wonderful, and the interactions between Snape and Harry even better. There was a mystery and humour and romance and sex - all packed into a great fic. Loved it!

Oh, thank you. Ron and Hermione are hard for me to write, so it's nice to be reassured that I didn't fail with them. And even better that you liked the Snarry.

What a great story! I love your Snape and Harry, but I especially loved your Ron. Somehow, he just really worked for me.

Erm, though, this is probably just me being dense... I'm not sure I understood how the mystery part of the story resolved itself. Why did someone want to turn Harry into a 5 year old the first time? How did she (Emily) do it? Not sure if it was meant to be left kinda unresolved or I just need to read more carefully / again....

Oh, and I LOVED Hermione's mental processes when Ron and Harry talk-- classic.

Awesome story! Thank you!

Thank you, for reading and for commenting.

The story was very much in an episodic structure, although I may have left the mystery a little too much between the lines. I'm considering writing the "Harry re-ages and Severus abandons ship" scene before I post the story to WtP and to my IJ. Hopefully, that would resolve your issues with not understanding just what Emily and Abrek did to Harry and why.

That was delightful. De-aging stories are becoming pure love to me, and when it's Harry, we get to see Severus thrown way out of his comfort zone. I thought you did nicely. And I enjoyed Hermione's POV, not to mention her characterization as well as Ron's---I really appreciate when they're depicted like this, in a Snarry especially.

Thank you. I'm developing a love of de-aging stories as well.

Hermione and Ron are a challenge for me. It's part of why I try to include them.
